My first time participating in the ZHills 4way scrambles was a skydiving milestone for me. I encourage everyone to participate, you'll have lots of fun and learn alot too! It's my favorite ZHills event. Normiss, I didn't realize your butt was that hairy! As was mentioned early in the series, many of these recruits come from troubled backgrounds and this is the first encounter with discipline and a work ethic. They described the environment being like a high school. They have been showing the complexities of all the activities on the ship, and how every member of the crew, no matter how low in rank, is needed for everything to run smoothly. So they are showing the lives of some of them in more detail. I am not a bellicose/warlike guy and usually not interested in military topics, but I do like aircraft, and this is a view I certainly won't ever see close up. The beginning chapter of "Deep Survival" by Laurence Gonzales, takes place on a carrier as planes are practicing night landings. Very well written, feels like you are there. The chapter is titled "Look out, here comes Ray Charles" and you can read it on amazon.com I wonder if anyone on DZ.com has worked on a carrier...? You mean besides the two legged ones at ZHills??? Someone was doing their laundry in the shed near the swoop pond when a gator swished its tail from under the washing machine! That was a 'welcome to Florida' moment! Around the forests of zhills there are deer, fox, wild boar, eagles, wild turkeys and more.... And the swamps also have otters, storks, ibis, sandhill cranes, osprey and other hawks....Its nice to do 'crw' with a hawk around ZHills... And of course the coastal waters have their manatees, dolphins and giant turtles etal. Today we were riding our bicycles by a canal and a dolphin followed alongside us for awhile. Just saw it at the local IMAX. WOW! So much high energy and it is clear how much they enjoy playing together...Keith's head 4 stories tall-- you can almost fall into the creases in his face and what a sound system that IMAX has! I more or less agree with this. Better yet, get a job, work for awhile and try to work in a couple different areas to see where you'd most like to focus in your MBA.
