I've heard people say that a person can go to Alaska and get trained to be a SmokeJumper, and get paid while they do it. If this is true would this trainign count towards an A License?

I have had the same problem viewing even my own profile. It seems to be intermitant somehow. Sometimes I get in...other times I get the error, but wait 10 min and it work.

If a person is at a dropzone but they are not jumping and just watching, can they have a beer or two before the beer light comes on. Or is it no Beer until after the Beer light?

If the seller let the auction close on its own and it says someone is high bidder they are obligated to sell to that bidder for the price listed. If they do not do this file a complaint against them and after they receive 3 complaints ebay suspends there account. The seller does have a right to end the auction on his own and cancel all bids before the last minute, its a low way to deal but it is done. If the bids are canceled and auction closed there is nothing you can do. But if he just closed it withou canceling the bids you can file a complaint. I am an avid buyer and seller on ebay and I have put most of the rules through the ringer with ebay. I have never jumped before but I have did a lot of reading in the forums and differ web pages. Your instructor is the best to tell you how you should perform your movements. But from what I found you should, think of yourself in a swimming pool, but he pool is filled with air as the medium instead of water. Just do the movements you would do as if you were submerged in water (without flailing your arms and legs around for the extra boost of push). Just do nice smooth flip the same way you would do in a pool of water.

Yeah I know. If only I'd kept jumping after I first started in '76. If I had I'd probably have an E or an F by now and still be immune to AAD disease. As it is I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll never jump without some battery powered, man-made electro mechanical device allegedly looking after my welfare. When I used to work in the explosives industry that category of thing was considered to be almost certainly lethal... NEVER take a battery powered gas tester into a bunker. Take a balloon and a pump and test the gas where there isn't as much bangy stuff...

In order for any program to do this you would need a 3d Visual taken of the object you plan to change into differ positions. Either done by someone else, or have the sensors and camera equip to record the data yourself. Either way your talking lots of money. Depending on your time and how many differ things you are looking to do with it you may be better off to get a good graphics editory like adobe photoshope and do some image altering, but without a good imaging expert you are not very likely to get the shadowing right.

EEeew....Dalnet's #dropzone channel took my op away when I entered..but was empty...do you know of a real active MIRC net that usually has people, I'll just look around at the differ ones if you don't.

What type of license does it require for a person to legally be able to jump and land in a place other then a designated DZ? Lets say, your own front yard?

Yes, you do put it under you upper or lower lip, but it does cause your mouth to salivate. And if you swallow to much of it it makes you puke. You do have to spit once and a while, but not as much as you see in westerns. Of course..you can still buy it in sticks and plugs which you do have to chew to form it to the shape so it fits under you lip. I am experience in the matter. I smoked for 4 year...gave up smoking for chewing tobacco...I quit chewing tobacco about 8 months ago. I'm tobacco free now, and talk about the money I am able to put towards my jumping course because I stopped.

I don't feel like I should be having to watch out for flying residue from someone who might get the idea that since they can't smoke..lets chew tobacco and spit when we fly......eeeaackkkk!
