Thanks everyone!!! CHuck and I had a great day yesterday. We spent a lot of time cleaning up after a long weekend in the camper (Tim - thanks for the use of the grill), and spent the rest of the day grooming the Billy Billy, cleaning up the house, and doing yardwork. We got on the bike around 4 pm and then had dinner. It was a good day. It was only marred by the 10:38pm phone call I got that a jackass in my company got a DUI at around 9pm. Well, we officially broke in the new camper last night. At one point, I think we had 21 people in there watching the Xaos "I'm f'in winning" video! Lots of people in town this weekend with the Black & Gold Meet. I've got a fun 4-way and we're going to try to put together a couple of points today! Chuck worked his ever-lovin' butt off getting that thing set up. Of course, there will be a constant reminder every month when we make that payment that we are in fact, not "livin' large" but just making it like everyone else. Chuck might have to pick up an extra shift or two at work to pay for this puppy but the cost to benefit ratio is definitely worth it!

The real deal is you have to be able to run at least a 7 minutes mile to hang in the runs at Airborne School. Technically, all of the runs are a 9-minute/mile standard; however, they mess with you by picking up the pace and then slowing down to the 'ol Airborne Shuffle so they can maintain the light time standard. You wouldn't have to sustain that 7 or sub 7 min/mile pace - you'd just have to keep it for about 3/4 of the mile. The longest run I ever had to do there was 5 miles and that was because it was a PayDay run. Good for your wife for running!!!

Wow, Bill, I haven't seen you around in almost a year! Sorry to hear about your aches and pains. I know I'm still a young doe but I'm feeling the effects of skydiving along with the toughness of the 82nd Airborne Division. I pulled a Primary Jumpmaster Duty on a C-130 yesterday and had a beautiful jump. It wasn't until the end of the day that I felt the effects of the bulky T-10D parachute and belly-mount reserve. I didn't think I'd like the Buell but I love it. I haven't ridden it yet (I take the Rider's Course this weekend) but just sitting on it feels good. It doesn't put me leaning down (top heavy) like some of the Jap bikes I've sat on. Will let you now how I really like it after I actually get to ride it. Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here
