Obama's my man when it comes to space aliens. -
Bumped as a good safety reminder.

SCR, SCS or NSCR patch. Mine are black, orange-red and black backgrounds, respectively. That rig has a belly band which dates it to the early to mid 70's. Perhaps Bill Newell was using that blue background back then.

TV: "Outrageous Acts of Science"
PullUpCord replied to PullUpCord's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
That's a Discovery channel show, with an hour-long episide called "Human Guinea Pigs". They have a countdown of stunts which are explained in scientific terms. Guess what the #1 stunt is? Well, I can't fucking tell you because I'm persona non grata, and my posts are invisible. So fuck you, you'll have to hope that someone else clues you in. Good luck! -
Spelled "Papillon".

Suit or Jumpsuit to skydiver funeral
PullUpCord replied to lifesatrip's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Wearing a jump suit might seem like a good idea to show the support of fellow skydivers. However, it could also be considered insensitive to the non-jumping family, who might see it as a reminder of the thing which caused the death of their loved one. So, the way to go is to respect the wishes of the family, as they are most important at a time like that. Even if their thinking about what the jumpsuit represents isn't what you intended. They don't need to be reminded of how he died, but rather of how many people loved him.
