  1. My, my. How quickly you seem to sink to our level. ...and to think, I thought you were a much better man than that. Such a pity.
  2. Not really interested, just fascinated by the mind of a psychopath. Yep, this falls under the "like watching a train wreck" category.
  3. 100% correct on that one! If it were not for the fact that I spend every cent of my $$ on the tunnel and jumping, there's a little hottie I would have been more than willing to shell out some dinero for.
  4. "The thing that comes to mind is why don't they shut the place down?" asked Don Smith of Princeton, whose son, Steven, and another jumper died Oct. 6, 2001, when their parachutes became entangled during a group exercise with 20 jumpers. "The place is not the right place to be." ______________________ When racers on a Nascar track collide and there is a fatality, do we ask for the track to be shut down? grrrrrrrr. I hope you can someday find peace, Don.
  5. Hmmmmmmm...good idea. I bet Pablo can convence them to join. C'mon, Perky! Have you no powers of persuasion of your own? I am so thoroughly disappointed, that I am contemplating not going. (yeah right!) 0:6:2 8 jumps in spite of shit weather for half of each day. 6 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday I feel satisfied.
  6. I have spent quite a bit of time absorbing this. I found it shocking that a man as charismatic as Roger Nelson could leave us so quickly. This has sent a ripple throughout our entire tight-knit community, that will be felt for quite some time. Not one of us is invincible or infallible. We do what we love, and we love what we do; until we decide that the associated risks are not worth the personal gains, we will continue to forge ahead on our chosen paths, and continue to lose other sky- brothers/sisters. It is always a conscious choice. Roger understood the meaning of loss, love, risk, and faith; he built a legacy that will endure. Through his children, his career, his faith, and his dropzone, he will be remembered and live on. My heart goes out to Rook, Missy, and the rest of his family--blood and otherwise. He must be so proud of all of you for your strength. BSBD Much love g
  7. I like a man that is ok with being stupid at times. It's good to have someone to laugh at other than myself. Very nice suit.
  8. I think I can handle it. You obviously haven't seen some of the pictures that are floating around of me already. You know what I say? BRING IT ON!!
  9. All hail the Queen! You are so great, K! I am sure the worry wort will feel much relief. I am looking forward to seeing you.
  10. I was wondering the same thing.
  11. I really want to hear the duck joke. Puhleeeeeeeeze! I am hoping Speedracer's duck joke was not THE duck joke.
  12. If you want accidental coverage that covers skydiving, look into Combined Insurance. They will cover skydivers, and they are quite reasonable in price. They pay up too... I know a couple of broken skydivers that have been glad they got it. They offer life insurance policies as well... not sure how that one works out, though.
  13. Not a chance! I make a big enough ass out of myself for love when no one is watching, much less millions.
  14. Drink: anything that has alcohol as the MAIN ingredient. Preferably a shot of tequila with a slice of lime waiting. Oh...and find me a cute boy to lick the salt off of. If there is no tequila available, I will settle for anything as long as I still get to lick a cute boy. As far as you crashing somewhere Sunnydee, we will get it settled for certain in the next couple of days. No worries. You will never be left without a place to stay when you travel with me. (are you feeling the guilt yet about leaving the airport without me? )
  15. hehe, I'm the same way. Does anyone know what Pop's ruling on this one is?
  16. Awwwww. Nobody loves fozchek. At least Pop is going to wait for me. There better be a drink waiting for me when I roll into T & K's! See, I have a ride organized, but now I need to organize my beverage service. Is there anyone out there that can help a sista out?
  17. Nope. I love her as a friend, but I am way more into the "insert Tab A into Slot B"-kind-of-love. Go for it girl! If your friend is not married she should be able to do that for you as well! Then think of all of the places we can go and jump!!!
  18. If it were possible, I would. A friend of mine is a flight attendant, and she said that I am her "life companion" or something like that, so now she and I can fly anywhere to go jump. Life is good.
  19. Ha...maybe you are right! However, I did buy it from somebody at my home DZ. Therefore no real planning! there is hope for you yet.
  20. Nah. Couldn't be...you fly a crossfire.
  21. I try to avoid making plans other than the tentative kind...then people actually expect me to show up. The whole Aggieland thing was a fluke...I had to plan on that one. I recently got hooked up with some free airfare, so I am going to start just showing up places on the weekends this summer. So, where will I be this summer? ...at your random, local dropzone looking for a spot on the plane during the day, a place to party at night, and a comfy bed to cozy up in. Have I mentioned that life is soooo not sucking?
  22. You shouldn't need much coaxing. Your internal dialogue will be: Hmmmn...this is a pleasant ride up to altitude with a group of hot chicks. Damn! Why are they all leaving me? I better follow them. Botta-boom-botta-bing...you are skydiving again!
  23. It is just Deland. I have lived here since November, and I still had to look at our business cards to check.
