1 pointFrom BasicOne's posts, I get the idea that the M2 cutters are like this: a) The old ones had the "flat plate plunger" design that shears the loop at both cutter holes. Something not at all known to the public before, I think. Quite a different design. b) Then I guess after Airtec/CYPRES' patent expired on single blade cutters, newer cutters use a single blade like a Cypres. That the kind BasicOne did tests on, using 2019+ M2 cutters, and was concerned with the amount of damage to the cutting edge after firing.

1 pointWikipedia's definition is "an adjective derived from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) meaning 'alert to racial prejudice and discrimination,' " Here's what you left out of your post: "By 2020, many on the political right and some in the center in several Western countries began using the term sarcastically as a pejorative for various leftist and progressive movements and ideologies. . . . this has partly been a reaction to the right-wing politics of U.S. President Donald Trump, who was elected in 2016, but also to a growing awareness regarding the extent of historical discrimination faced by African Americans. According to Perry Bacon Jr., ideas that have come to be associated with "wokeness" include a rejection of American exceptionalism; a belief that the United States has never been a true democracy; that people of color suffer from systemic and institutional racism; that white Americans experience white privilege; that African Americans deserve reparations for slavery and post-enslavement discrimination; that disparities among racial groups, for instance in certain professions or industries, are automatic evidence of discrimination; that U.S. law enforcement agencies are designed to discriminate against people of color and so should be defunded, disbanded, or heavily reformed; that women suffer from systemic sexism; that individuals should be able to identify with any gender or none; that U.S. capitalism is deeply flawed; and that Trump's election to the presidency was not an aberration but a reflection of the prejudices about people of color held by large parts of the U.S. population." Bacon was listing the misleading definitions that right wingers were using. This is why you have to attribute quotes that you didn't write yourself.

1 pointditto . . . except it is often his way, or the highway. FJ can be very forceful. That is difficult for some people to deal with over time, whether he is correct or wrong. FJ tends to foster the notion he is never wrong! That stifles discussion ... the issue is 'tolerance' ? FJ wants a basic set of facts of the Cooper case set in stone and he has gone some distance to do that. When other people come along with claims of their own, that is where the friction starts ... and frankly it wears down everyone. Cooper forums by their nature can be disappointing and full of friction, due to a conflict of personalities and claims and goals people are expressing. I think establishing a neutral ground is very important in keeping any discussion group going. ? Dropzone has managed to do that through it Moderators/moderation. Dropzone has supported a Cooper discussion thread for many years, largely successfully! I respect DZ for that! Amen! Just my personal opinion ....

1 pointNot my definition, I cut and pasted it from Wikipedia, needless to say I disagree with most of it.

1 pointWell I’ve never reported him to a mod for anything he has said to me. If others do then that’s one thing, but it’s not me doing it. I don’t want to see him banned because they’d remove all his posts and he’s posted some valuable info over the years.
