LouYoung 0 #1 November 14, 2003 Mirage G3 Container complete with a Spectre 170 7-cell canopy, (factory relined less than 50 jumps ago), Cypres 4 year checkup and new battery Aug '02, and Firelite 190 reserve canopy (both main and reserve repack -out of date- are responsibility of the buyer). I jumped the rig less than 50 times and I was told in 2002 when I bought it that it had roughly 1000 jumps on the entire rig. The Serial numbers and manufacture dates are: Mirage Container #1728 6 Aug '99 Reserve #FL5238R 7-12-93 Cypres Expert #40C126625CC7226X 6-98 Main Canopy SP170-001157 7-98 Thanks in advance! webracer 0 #5 November 14, 2003 The used gear market is pretty soft. I'd say if you could get $3000 for the whole setup you'd be lucky. That is if it is in top condition. I'd be happy with $2500 if it was mine. It is newbie sized, so that'll help. Good luckTroy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility.
skybytch 259 #6 November 14, 2003 Assuming 1000 jumps on the main and container and no jumps on the reserve I'd figure about $2200-$2500 for that rig.

rmsmith 1 #10 November 15, 2003 QuoteAssuming 1000 jumps on the main and container and no jumps on the reserve I'd figure about $2200-$2500 for that rig. Maybe in early spring, but right now...about $1,800.
GravityGirl 0 #11 November 15, 2003 Do you know if the Main has had a reline? In our current Market on the West Coast, I'ld say $2,200.00 to $2,300.00. Depends on how much the buyer has to put into it. New Lines? I & R..... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
BadDog 0 #12 November 15, 2003 I'd put it at $2,100 to $2,600 depending on the actual condition.
rmsmith 1 #13 November 15, 2003 The buyer always thinks that it is worth less, and the seller always thinks that it is worth more; at some point the buyer and seller settle somewhere between the these two values. The eBay auctions operate on this principal.
