This could be really cool for us wingsuit flyers it would show you rate of descent to help fine tune body position.

Not out yet but hopefully soon

It would mostly be a vanity purchase and I am vane!

You put {url} before it and {/url} after it, with "[" instead of the"{" I used (if I try to use it, then the "before it and" would become a link.

This response is not directed towards anyone inparticular.

While everyone is trashing this device think of the benefits of being able to fine tune and I mean FINE tune body position as to allow greatest forward speed and slow vertcal decent as much as possible.


I realize that this can be felt but I think you could maximize more if you were able to see vertical decent and forward speed without changing body position to look.

It would just be a bad ass toy to have

Some details for "Roger" ,prsident of alti -2.

Could it be used with open face helmet and goggles?
- Yes

What about base functions as the protrack, ie jumping from a 1400 feet bigwall and setting the alti to that?
- We do not test our altimeters for BASE use - but there is no technical reason why it could not be used this way

Could it be made less "Snag hassardious", like curved along the helmet?
- The production mount design is much smoother and enclosed

Any idea about prize with or without gps?
- We will release prcing info later in tghe year

Will it show horisontal speed?
- Yes, as long as you have the GPS option

Warning bleeps?
- I suggest you use a Neptune for this function, a TITAN audible peripheral is not at the top of the development list

pc interface?
- YES

When can i order!
- We will be releasing this item for sale in the summer.
