Soul Flyers wasn't so badly priced when i bought it from them a while back. I'd agree that Crosswind is kinda pricey especially when you convert from US$ into South African Rands.

It's mostly a base video, but there are entertaining freeflying, hop'n'pops and a small bit of belly flying. Additionally there other funny antics, like the infamous skull mask scenes.

best vids ive seen and own. chronicles 2, out of the blue, good stuff, swoop 2 &3, swedish freefly 2, soul flyers.

heres where my mouth gets me in trouble but fuck it,
the worst sd video's ive seen are the older norman kent stuff. (yes he is an amazing photographer and i have the utmost respect for him)
but the cheese factor is through the roof. its like watching teletubbies on ice combined with 80's porn music.

On a technical aspect, I'm blown away by Patrick Passe.
He is one of the few that understand that you can structure the video in line with the music. I was a nightclub DJ in the nineties when Traveling 1,2&3came out and was amazed by what good editing can accomplish when sync'd to the music.

I can't stand the Vids that have whatever music happened to be in the videographers cd player at the time the video was put together. The disconect between the two hurts my head.

I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.

Well it also has a rating of 5 stars. Course it only has one vote. And it was me. And I only did it to make him feel better...

But it really is great. If the DVD is close to as good as the preview, that'll definitely put this one in the top 500 skydiving DVDs of all time.

AGREED. Standard Issue is EXCELLENT.

Also..... Trace 101, Crosswind, and Cloud's Edge are pretty good, though the last one is a bit outdated, it's still comprised of some decent footage.
