Hey,

Just wanted to share my AFF jumps. Level 7 isnt here as ive not got the footage to upload yet.

Also if my first contact exit with someone other then an instructor (12th jump) The plan was Dive exit, up and down movement, break off and track, upward movement eluded me this time -.-

Not sure what the make/model of the plane is :S
Its a twin engine, 2 blade propeller. not a turbo prop.
Holds 10 people. ES-PNA is the registry number in EU.

You could leap out and get to it im sure its not too far out, but you dont have to take special care not to hit it either, the prop wind pushes u back pretty good from that close it seems.

back to the DZ tomorrow for weekend jumping! if the weather cooperates

This was at a small gathering we had out on an island called Kihnu in Estonia. were there for 5 days. we have another event coming up soon called Parasummer ( http://parasummer.com/ )

Def an Islander. There is a (very small) chance of hitting the wheel, but you would really have to go for it. I've launched 4 and 6 ways from one without any problems.

To the OP, well done, you didn't seem to have any major problems with your progression. The real learning and fun starts now! Enjoy and blue skies.

yea thats the same plane looks like....
The wind is still moving pretty quick when we exit, i dont expect it willl happen with us, BUT always good to see what it can look like if it does... 8 hours of work then its jump time!

I'll have ya'll know I jumped a Cessna (albeit begrudgingly) three whole times since said encounter. I won't dive out of one (ever), and I won't launch more than a two way poised (even that one was a big advancement for my skydiving career, lol) but I did it!

Nope. You aren't ever going to be forgotten.

And you weren't attacked. That wheel was sitting perfectly still, minding its own damned business, just hanging there waiting to be needed on landing, when you decided to attack it.

Probably not the best technique for hand to hand (face to wheel??) combat, but that's a whole different issue.

And diving exits out of a 182 are great. You put your foot on the step (ya know, the step is designed to be used by feet) and go.

Yes, dear Joe, I am aware that it didn't maliciously reach out and assault me That was one battle that should have been avoided altogether!

I screwed the pooch. Royally. There ya have it. But I learned from it and think I am a lot more aware of where things are and how to exit safely (doesn't mean I don't funnel 'em occasionally, lol, but ya know...) Still get more nervous with 182 exits than other planes, not saying my nerves are totally rational at this point since I know I can do it safely at this stage, but I think it's at least understandable)

Ya'll have a 182 right? Maybe I'll come visit you this summer and you can help me overcome my issues lol. (We have one but fly the PAC in the summer, not that I am complaining)

**And OP-- congrats on your AFF completion, and welcome! I got distracted by people messing with my head here lol, but didn't want to overlook your accomplishment (you'll notice we get distracted on here sometimes... lol)
