Good!  That will reduce traffic, drop real estate prices, get rid of some assholes, and improve the IQ of both states.  Win-win!

We should provide them with buses, and give away MAGA hats to anyone who gets on the bus.

They will get to go too!  Texas already has camps set up for them with all the drugs and Bud Light they can steal.  And then just think!  You can own the libs by complaining about them!

Good catch Nostradamus, the unhoused tend to be where the economy is good, there aren't big supplies of unempathetic assholes, and it's not freezing ass cold in the winter like in Mifflin County, PA.

“In 2021, nearly 108,000 people migrated from California to Texas, according to an analysis of the most recent Census data.”

And even more are going to Florida.

You forgot the other States receiving our refugees. lol We have "like" one third of the Nations unhoused so, ya.

Unfortunately you'll hear the same three reasonings; drugs mental health and bad luck. Never a Lack of leadership and accountability, an ailment.

When you get a chance this is quite insightful to our compassion gone mad, that brought our societal inversion. My wife needed a break, to lower the blood pressure. The doom loop, encapsulates the phrase "the road to hell is lined with good intentions."

While it's awesome to be able to piss in front of Starbuck and it's cool to not be charged for possession of a deadly substance, as long as it's  less than 3 grams.... probably enough kill us both a couple times over, but hey, we all need a BM.

There are answers, but that accountability thing gets in the way. When it's allowed, it can do wonders.

R.I. sure has a great model and some hope.

Texas and California as recent as 2015 had the same GDP per capita but now after exporting many gun loving hillbillies to Texas. California now enjoys about a 15% advantage.

Texas is a great state. It spends $4000 less per student on education. So it has more money for football stadiums.

Texas is the worst state to live and work, according to CNBC analysis 2013  "Factors like Texas having the highest number of uninsured residents in the nation, higher violent crime rates, a low number of primary care physicians per capita, a strict abortion ban and laws targeting LGBTQ+ people were what made Texas’ score so low, per CNBC."

Texas does have AR-15s well stocked in the local Walmart's though.

And they have Deer Corn outside every market. Bags and big bags of it because baiting animals in Texas isn't just legal it's also profitable. Ya'll just pull up in your truck with a high rise shooting blind on the bed and load a few hundred pounds underneath and off you go to do some hunting. You won't be seeing one of these bad boys atop any mini-cooper, that's a fact.

Why hunt game on foot when you can bait and shoot from the comfort of a Texas hunting blind and watch the Cowboys  "Ox Ranch(Texas) has an $80,000 deer blind..

    • Direct TV with Sports Package
    • Live game camera feed
    • Poker Table
    • Soundproof Walls
    • Air Conditioning & Heating
    • Fully Stocked Bar with Ice Machine"

After all nothing goes with hunting like a fully stocked bar and a rifle.

But, but, but we're overrun with deer, especially those Axis deer we introduced for food and fun! Hmm.. that's a problem, sure. But didn't you also introduce odd colored, strange speaking, folks for food gathering? And now, just like those deer, they see your backyard as a place to live and eat with their youngun's. Sadly, at least for now, you can't just shoot them from a truck for fun. For now.

Hi Phill

I'm  moving the goalposts, so with that said;

California recently lost a new congressional seat, reducing its total seats from 53 to 52 starting from the 2022 elections and its subsequent 118th Congress. This marked the first time in the state's history where it lost a seat.

I'll bet California has Texas beat when it comes to the homeless, Property, income and Sales tax, registration, and the insurance they won't buy.

Texas does have unique approaches to the homeless problem dependent on the local need.Austin Dallas and SA, while each is different don't have the failure rate of California

Texas does have unique approaches to the homeless problem dependent on the local need.Austin Dallas and SA, while each is different don't have the failure rate of California

"Last year, Texas put $19.7 million of state funding into its three main homelessness programs – equal to about $806 per unhoused person. California poured $1.85 billion into its three main programs – or $10,786 for every unhoused person. Houston puts no city money into homelessness.Jun 28, 2023"

Agree Texas wins! "Sweltering streets: Hundreds of homeless die in extreme heat   Chris Medlock, a homeless Phoenix man stated "“If a kind soul could just offer a place on their couch indoors maybe more people would live,”  ...Just in the county that includes Phoenix, at least 130 homeless people were among the 339 individuals who died from heat-associated causes in 2021.'

Well Texas has low taxes. Letting the heat and no social supports kill off the homeless is one way to solve the problem. If Texas keeps it up soon it will have no homeless people at all.  Must be all those church goers, Christians in Texas that comes up with these ideas to fight poverty and homelessness.

You should listen to Karin Dunn she will confirm your bias that the increase in anti semitism since October is from that MAGA crowd.Karen explains very concisely. How the white supremacists have joined forces with their Brown Humas brethren.

Do you really think the Cali exodus "Good! " I don't think you really mean that, amazing that you can't relate to concerns or be empathetic to those that found our decay so bad, they left the most beautiful State in the Union.

If you're covered in blood from dressing your game animals you're doing it all wrong.

Touche' Sir,

It was a tragic mistake, like California's terminal injury, a self inflicted maldy, our good intentions.  Good money chasing bad with the same result. As we spend 350% more on education than other Nations, but the results leave us in bewilderment.

So if, if we just throw more money at problems, they should  just disappear.

Than which other nations?

In 2019, the United States spent $15,500 per full-time-equivalent (FTE) student on elementary and secondary education, which was 38 percent higher than the average of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) member countries of $11,300 (in constant 2021 U.S. dollars).

At 6.00%, the United States spends a larger percentage of its GDP on education than many other North American and European nations, which average 4.85% of GDP in educational spending.Sep 8, 2023

My mistake with the decimal,38% not 380%

Its OK, its OK, you've posted here long enough to leave us all in bewilderment. But at least in Texas you'll be superior!

I'm not moving,  I'm staying to fight the good fight, as another Sorro Funded DA gets our Boot.

Nearly 98% of Los Angeles Prosecutors Vote to Recall Soros-backed District Attorney George Gascón. The 800 member Association of Deputy District Attorneys who work for the County of Los Angeles, just voted overwhelmingly to support the recall of George Gascón, the elected District Attorney of LA County.

I'll let you know when I see a redeeming quality from the Left.

I hope you enjoy this as it applies to our banter.

While our debates get heated know that I respect you and the dozen or so brave souls that post here, specifically the men and women with the funny hats. An olive branch of sorts

John Turley, and the Tradition of our First Amendment. just may be something we can agree on.

If you’re gonna invoke the name of one of the prime MAGA boogeymen, you should at least learn how to spell it.

He's not a boogeyman he's a melted wax phallus, but I suppose" Sorrows", more appropriate.  Low hanging fruit, it's an eazy pick.

If he’s nothing but a ‘melted wax phallus’ how can he be the threat you make him out to be?

Im assuming you’re just baiting with misspelling ’easy’, but maybe that’s just who we’re dealing with here.
