Post trump Legal Actions, Including his Enablers

Recommended Posts

Trump's lawyers actually said this in court when arguing for a mistrial:

"We are talking about somebody who’s going to go out and campaign this afternoon!” Stormy Daniel's testimony was “extraordinarily prejudicial” intended only “to embarrass” Trump and “to inflame the jury.”

The sight of a Trump surrogate whining that someone said some really mean things meant to rile up the base and embarass a political enemy is . . . the very definition of irony.

Looks like yet another pay .  . . .

Donald Trump dangled a brazen “deal” in front of some of the top US oil bosses last month, proposing that they give him $1bn for his White House re-election campaign

to play scheme.

vowing that once back in office he would instantly tear up Joe Biden’s environmental regulations and prevent any new ones.

So looks like we now know the cost of a Clarence Thomas ruling AND the price of a Trump decision.

Nah. thats just the book cover. Wait till people open the book to find billions in other transactions. Like a Saudi nuclear deal. A Ukrainian deal, A NATO deal. Perhaps is the buyer is generous enough a two for one Ukrainian-NATO deal. Then much much more.

Chief Justice Thomas has just stated “My wife and I, the last two or three years, just(hate) the nastiness and the lies,” said Justice Thomas, who did not specify what he was referring to in addressing a full ballroom of lawyers and judges gathered for a judicial conference in Alabama. “There’s certainly been a lot of negativity in our lives, my wife and I, over the last few years, but we choose not to focus on it.” Instead they have chosen to focus upon the warmth and generosity of their many old and new friends.

He went on to say  “You don’t get to prevent people from doing horrible things or saying horrible things,” the justice said. “But one, you have to understand and accept the fact that they don’t, they can’t change you unless you permit that.” Such a strong willed man! Not influenced at all by criticism or a fiduciary duty to integrity.

An IRS audit has revealed that Trump enterprises has taken tax deductions twice for the same costs on a Chicago skyscraper. He likely owes $100 million for the little scam. But its not all bad. He told his lawyers to stall till after January 21st. That he'd make it right and instead get a $100 mill payment.

Trumpism has revealed serious flaws in the US constutitional and legal system, and how easily it is manipulated by the wealthy and the unscrupulous.

The latest absurdities from Judge Aileen Cannon, giving rulings that can only be considered gifts to the guy who appointed her and are almost appeal-proof, is just an example.

Agree, hence trump's rising popularity in the battle for the poorly educated, below a May 9th poll:

Biden will have to win three, perhaps four of these battles. In other news DJT stock was saved by Russian cash His stock is up 267% in the last six months and now has a market cap of 7.64 billion. Trump's share of that is about $5 billion. No word yet as to who is driving up the price of DJT stock. DJT stock had revenue of $4.1 million in revenue last year.

Trump this weekend: "No politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly."

So Lincoln, shot and killed after freeing America's slaves?  That was more fair than Trump being prosecuted for business fraud.  JFK, assassinated after preventing World War III and getting Americans to the Moon?  That was more fair than Trump being found liable for sexual assault when he raped a woman.  Gay rights icon (and city supervisor) Harvey Milk being assassinated after fighting for civil rights for years?  That was more fair than Trump getting in trouble for trying to steal an election.

Donald Trump.  Biggest victim EVER.

Speaker Johnson giving a press conference outside of Trumps trial today. America the land with a judiciary separate from politics is a thing of the past. Never mind the Supreme courts political actions of late.

From Fox News “It’s a remarkable, if not unprecedented, moment in modern American politics to have the powerful House speaker, a constitutional officer, turn his political party against the U.S. system and rule of law by declaring a trial illegitimate”

I’m not sure the US will ever regain its moral high ground after the Trump era ends. I don’t know if Trump broke the system, or simply exposed a broken system. Regardless, he appears to have done a great job of it.

I never thought a first world country would have a diaper wearing lunatic as a serious contender for President.

Whom to believe.

Trumpist legal commentator on Fox claims Robert Costello's testimony was a killshot for the defense.

Daily Beast commentator claims Costello was "taken apart" by the prosecution on cross examination.

?????

You mean Robert Costello, who's behavior was so egregious that the judge sent the jury out of the courtroom to yell at Costello? The jury was removed to prevent any sort of 'prejudicial action' because the judge basically laid into Costello for being a contemptuous douche.

https://www.newsweek.com/maga-trump-witness-robert-costello-judge-merchan-1902929

Of course, the MAGA world is having a conniption about it.

Because acting like a 3 year old, being disrespectful towards a judge in a trial, generally being, you know, a douche is what those people think is 'manly'.

?????

The jury was snickering at him on cross, when it was shown by his emails that he lied the previous day.
