Biden didn’t take any guns, but he is partially responsible for millions and millions of more guns.  That is what makes it so funny.  He aspires to reduce the number of guns but all he accomplishes is adding millions more. :rofl::rofl:

Baloney. Any chicken little squawking at the sky is all it takes for most of the indoctrinated to add 1000 rounds and another AR-15 in the new Fibonacci .358 caliber to their already bloated arsenals. Let's go back to your other topic. Were it not for global warming we might not have found that fresh asteroid crater in Greenland. That's a positive, right?

With these guys on the ramparts, you have nothing to worry about.

Sorry, isn't the narrative that the soyboys in Antifa tricked the proud patriots defending America and stormed and occupied the Capitol right under their nose? I know guns don't require a whole lot of intelligence to use, but, boy, if they let that happen, are you sure they will be able to figure out where to point?

Considering members of the American right beat a police officer to death, it is pretty clear they cannot be trusted with guns. They can't even be trusted to responsibly handle flagpoles and crutches.

If one thing has become very clear in the US: Law and Order is for black people, serve and protect is for white people.

I didn’t know Fibonacci made a 358, I do have the 377 in the forty watt range.

Yes, that is the correct narrative as of today.   The previous one was "brave patriots defending democracy" but that changed around 3pm EST when all the shitting on the floor, looting, vandalism, assaults and murders started.  At that point Antifa somehow appeared and did all that bad stuff then disappeared.  This timeline is evident here, in a series of tweets from a brave patriot:

And while this is going on, firearms and ammunition manufacturers are working around the clock to try and meet the demand of millions more gun orders and years worth of ammunition back orders.
Can he (Kamala Harris) ban the sale and production of something that has already been purchased (yet not been delivered) legally?  Any constitutional scholars around here?

It’s really a moot point because Tester and Manchin aren’t going to play ball, and even if they did the SC would not allow for the abridgment of our constitutional rights.

The 8 years of the Obama administration without your guns being taken away didn't give you a clue?

There it is in a nutshell. Not that we all aren't subject to the same confusions in some degree, but the whole gotta get more guns before the commies take the ones I have nonsense is just customers being persuaded by marketing. In this case, unfortunately, they have a very crappily written constitutional amendment to bolster the case. Imagine for a minute another amendment in the constitution: Unregulated agriculture, being necessary to the full employment of black persons, the right of the people to grow and sell tobacco shall not be infringed. Well, there it is sport fans, no matter how bad for society the use of tobacco might be it is constitutionally protected. Thanks for playing.

That is my point!  Biden panders to the left while alarming the right.  End result?  Millions of new gun owners, millions of more guns and billions of rounds of ammunition sold that would not have been sold otherwise.  If you can’t see the irony in that, I can’t help you.

Maybe skydekker can but I sure can not. What I can see is that your record is skipping and you need to change the needle.

Nobody but nobody has sold more fear...er...guns than the NRA. The NRA operates hand in trigger with the industry to spread fear to drive sales. Drive stockpiling.

The Gun Industry in America. by the Center for American Progress

"A new survey by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service shows that today, only about 5 percent of Americans, 16 years old and older, actually hunt. That's half of what it was 50 years ago and the decline is expected to accelerate over the next decade."

"But America’s gun super-owners, have amassed huge collections. Just 3% of American adults own a collective 133m firearms – half of America’s total gun stock. These owners have collections that range from eight to 140 guns, the 2015 study found. Their average collection: 17 guns each." A good term for these superstockpilers of weapons would be trump supporters, or old white men.

From 1994 to 2014 the percentage of American men that owned guns declined by 10%.

No he's waiting for Wayne's latest talking points. But Wayne is worried about his income taxes and other liabilities about his theft of members funds.

That trend has obviously been reversed with five million new gun owners.
https://cheddar.com/media/gun-sales-2020-up-first-time-owners

“The firearm manufacturer's most popular rifle, an AR-15 -style weapon called the DS-15 Typhoon, has a six-month waitlist.”

“Many of these weapons are going to people who never owned a gun. NSSF estimated in August that five million Americans bought firearms for the first time in 2020. The group noted firearm sales usually go up during an election year, but President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris' stance on gun control may have increased sales,”

The NRA is not the variable.

Late to the party but my 2c incoming:

Given that a significant portion of the most recent upswing in weapon purchases has been from first time owners, would it not be more logical to attribute their sales to Trump?

It's a fringe but growing voice amongst *his* supporters that are the ones openly calling for civil war and armed insurrection - more likely that these new gun purchases are leftists and moderates preparing to defend themselves from the wackos.

^^ again, logic dictates that an upswing in new gun owners who have more left-leaning tendencies is not going to be a response to Biden.

The Left are buying guns to protect themselves against marauding bands of neo-Nazis, (because they are just everywhere!) the Right are buying guns (particularly ARs) because Biden said he is going to take them, and folks in the middle are responding to the “defund the police” movement and the burning of cities last summer.

Eduard Florea, a member of the far-right Proud Boys, was arrested on Tuesday night after police say they found Parler posts from him threatening the life of Sen.-elect Raphael Warnock’s (D-Ga.), as well as planning to take part in the insurgency at the Capitol riot last week.

Florea responded to another user on Parler who posted “F--- RAPHAEL WARNOCK LOSER” saying, “Dead man can't pass shit laws."

He was arrested in his home in Queens, N.Y., where authorities said they found more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition and military-style combat knives, NBC New York reported on Wednesday. Florea was reportedly not allowed to have that ammunition due to a previous arrest and conviction in 2013 for a firearms-related felony. "

trump politely asked "the Proud Boys to "stand back and stand by." at his presidential debate.

Except that Harris/Biden is much more effective at pumping millions of assault rifles into the U.S. Than Santa ever was at moderating children’s behavior.

Whatever. So world class dipshit and US Congressman Louis Gohmert (R) of Texas and his equally smart fellow Congressman and gun shop owner Andrew Clyde (R) of Georgia are the first to be fined $5000 for sneaking around the metal detectors at the capitol. Because of Biden/Harris, I'm certain.
