wmw999 2,129 #2 November 30, 2016 Kind of like a certain type of southerner 25-40 years ago who was fine with the blacks that he or she personally knew. Distrusted the others, because, after all, they were black. But ol' Harry -- he's a good guy. I knew someone who had raised his daughters so that two of them said they'd "never work for a n*****r", but he had a black co-worker living in his house because his wife had kicked him out. He wasnt unique in the Houston area; just the one I knew really well. Trump very possibly has two classes of women; those who are "just like everyone else" and therefore appointable etc, and "babes" (or whatever other semi-pejorative objectifying term you think is appropriate. Until someone questions their own assumptions on a periodic basis they're prejudices. Particularly when it's about people. Each person deserves to be treated as an individual, because each person is in many ways an exception to the rules that have been set up around them based on the opinions of others. That goes for Trump, but since he now has a shit-ton of power, it also means he needs to do so. And his statements on women don't say much positive. His actions on some individual ones do. Neither of those says everything about him. Wendy P.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

Her family has a net worth of $5.1 billion, according to Forbes. Elaine Chao, the choice for transportation secretary, is the daughter of a shipping magnate.... JerryBaumchen 1,050 #11 December 1, 2016 Hi Joe, Quotemore or less a pyramid scheme Back in the 70's I attended an Amway presentation. IMO it is not 'more or less,' it is a pyramid scheme. I could not believe that some of the folks attending were actually considering getting into it. Complete & total insanity.
