“He blamed it on Hillary. Of course,” said Maher, rolling his eyes. “Because even when Trump admits he lies, he has to tell another giant lie! He says Hillary and her campaign started birtherism in 2008, which is something contradicted only by newspapers, television, Twitter, eyes, ears, and smell. Hillary started birtherism? Oh yes, I think we all remember that. I think it was right after Hillary’s casinos went bankrupt.”

>Maybe if you go back to a presidental debate between Clinton / Obama in 2008 you
>will find that is the time within 36 hours of the debate the Birther issue started.

I just realized this is Birther 2.0.

"Hillary Clinton started it."
"No, she didn't. It was started by an error by a literary agent in 1991. They screwed up his biography."
"Hillary Clinton repeated it."
"No, she didn't. She never said that. In fact, when asked she said 'of course not. I mean, that's, you know, there is no basis for that.' "
"Well, then, her campaign repeated it."
"No, no, they didn't do that either."
"Well, uh . . . . a staffer wrote an email to someone that claimed it!"
"No, that's not true either."
"Well, uh . . see . . a staffer once FORWARDED an email that claimed it! Yeah, that's it!"
"Yes, and they were fired immediately. The email was written by someone else."

"SEE! HILLARY CLINTON STARTED IT!"

I would say that it would be hard to believe anyone could be so intentionally obtuse, but there are still people who believe that Obama wasn't born in the US, that the Earth was created 6000 years ago, and that 9/11 was an inside job.

But as promised yesterday..."Jakee" I'm posting the MSNBC Video of the 2008 debate. The birther question comes up around 6:04 min. in the video timeline.

You have said some stupid stuff on this website, but this one takes the cake. Congratulations!

LOL

Just befuddled aren't you!!

You see it. Open your eyes.

Hillary mentioned it again today. Her super Pac media repeats it. Her parrots here dutifully regurgitate the same tripe.:D:D

Why???

Issues are needed! Just like the made up war on women narrative when Romney was running. Then the media and the parrots here went Polly wants a cracker nuts.

The polls are driving Hillary, her media and the left insane. Now they are looking for anything to stem the tide.

Fun to watch I gotta say.

Thank you. It confirms that Clinton unequivocally denied supporting the birthers.

Obama agreed - "I take Senator Clinton at her word."

Looks like you are hearing things again.

So, at about 6:04 the moderator asks a question about a story on the Drudge report. Clinton clearly disowns the report and states that it is wrong. You consider this to be evidence? The only thing it shows is how unreliable Drudge was.

So Clinton asscociations don't count but Trump associations do as far as your concerned..... got it..

Trump also stated for the record Obama was born in the US. End of story.

But then, we do have one of Clinton's still close supporters pushing the birther movement along with you and the rest here. (for the reasons I stated earlier)

Quote

One was a volunteer in Iowa, who was fired, Clinton’s former campaign manager said Friday. The other was Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal, according to a former McClatchy Washington Bureau chief.

None of this crap about HRC takes away from the fact that Despicable Donald was birther in chief for many years. Now when his lies come back to haunt him he is retracting some of them.

No one is going to fall for the sideshow trick of blaming HRC for his antics. Try another tactic Rush.

And you had the gall to call into question my research skills. That's one of the debates I looked at - there is zero mention or even hint at an uncertainty over Obama's birth anywhere in it. If you've been brainwashed into thinking there was then that is pretty pathetic.:S

What were they talking about? A photo of an adult Obama in the native garb of a country he was visiting.

1) How the fuck is that a birther question?

2) Even if it was a birther question, how the fuck is Hillary Clinton responsible for questions posed to her in a debate?

3) If even Matt Drudge at the time didn't say it called into question Obama's birth, why the fuck would mention of it in the debate create a birther issue?

4) Rush's link claims that a Clinton staffer forwarded a birther email in 2007. You must be saying that his link is lying, yes?

From the article you linked to:

but there is no evidence that Clinton herself or her campaign spread the story.

While Trump himself has been pushing it, HIMSELF, for at least 5 years.

So during those 5 years, was he purposely lying or was he simply wrong? That's a long time to just be wrong with overwhelming evidence against his stated position.

Is that how he is going to be as president?

Incorrect again.

>Trump also stated for the record Obama was born in the US.

And then lied again to start a new birther "controversy" - which you apparently swallowed hook, line and sinker.

It's really quite simple. Clinton did not start birtherism. Her campaign did not start birtherism. Trump lied. You bought his lie. Everything else is a desperate attempt to salvage something from this latest Trump gaffe.

When you are so far right that you are claiming that even FOX News is wrong - you might want to come back a bit towards the center.

Trump also stated for the record Obama was born in the US.

Trump stated for the record that the Obama administration secretly assassinated the Hawaiian State Health Director to cover up the fact that Obama's Birth Certificate was a fraud.

Hillary Clinton on the other hand has never questioned Obama's birthplace, and was stating for the record that Obama was born in the USA before Trump even began posting his lunatic contributions to the birther conspiracy.

Seriously bro - trying to paint Trump as the innocent voice of reason in this thing is utterly insane. Pathetic revisionist history.

I did not get anything from Trump nor Fox News.

Refer to my latest links

Point is
Only ones pushing the issue today is Hillary and her Super Pac media
SHE, brought it up again today.

YOU, and the left can NOT let is go because of the desperate search to find an issue that might stick to Trump.

Well, another fail:D

Oh

And I posted her campaign started it.
Not her.....

Except for Trump himself, and except for the entire right wing echo chamber. Y'know, the ones whose articles you were linking to just yesterday? Where did those articles come from if the right isn't talking about the issue?

What does stick to Trump is all the insane bullshit that he, personally, spewed over the course of several years when all but the most incurably partisan or stupid knew that the Obama birth question was settled.

But how desperate must you be to find something to stick to Hillary that a recollection from a senior staffer that a junior regional campaign worker once forwarded an email has you crying in triumph? I can just imagine the panic you must be feeling when the only thing you can find for support is that thin and that tenuous. I'd almost feel sorry for you, if you weren't trying to disguise your desperation by being so obnoxious:S

>I did not get anything from Trump nor Fox News.

Nor did I claim you did. What I claimed is that you are so far to the right that you even disagree with FOX News. Even FOX - which is as far right as mainstream media gets, and whose former chairman is now running Trump's campaign - has called out the "Clinton started it" lie.

>YOU, and the left can NOT let is go because of the desperate search to find an
>issue that might stick to Trump.

Oh, I've let it go. When even FOX knows Trump is lying, then the story is over. (Trump claims it's true, but let's face it - almost everything he says is a lie. That's not a story any more.)

So why do _you_ cling to this lie? Getting a little panicked over the poll numbers? Feeling a little heat from Trump's love affair with Putin, or his attacks on Gold Star families, or his calls for his supporters to assassinate Clinton?

"The "Today" show co-host was criticized for spending too much time on Clinton's emails, lobbing softball questions to Trump, and neglecting to fact-check the Republican nominee when he falsely claimed to have opposed the Iraq War in 2002. . . ."

Good summary of Trump's positions on Iraq:

9/11/2002 Q: Do you support the invasion? Trump: Yeah, I guess so. You know, I wish the first time it had been done correctly.

3/21/2003 Trump: It looks like a tremendous success from a military standpoint.

11/4/2003 Trump: We are getting some very unpleasant surprises in Iraq, and hopefully something is going to be done about it quickly.

8/1/2004 Trump: Look at the war in Iraq and the mess that we're in. I never would have handled it this way.

11/24/2004 Trump: I do not believe we made the right decision going into Iraq, but you know, hopefully, we'll be getting out.
