Exactly how could good logic ever be a downfall for anybody?

If you figure it out, let me know. I'd hate to think my own brain is plotting against me:P

Logic is an exercise in reasoning. It can take many paths that don't necessarily lead to the Truth. If one puts their faith solely in logic they may delude themselves and miss out on what they seek.

1 cup of projection and a dash of sophistry. Interesting recipe.

What a dilemma.

Where will you turn to seek a solution?

To logic, science and reasoning, perhaps.

Which may or may not work for pirana. However, that approach has little to no positive affect for those who suffer.

I was one of those people and I want to share what worked for me.

And that's a very good thing. Other people want to do the same thing but their way may not be the same as what worked for you. That doesn't mean that their way is wrong, just different.

You are right on. I have worked in the secular field as well as the Christian field. I prefer the latter. Now that I am retired and my income is secured, I can openly follow my preferred choice for two reasons.

First, it works, is timely and there is no fee required. Second, it is completely confidential.

Well, that depends upon one's point of view and what they are suffering from.

The topic here is spiritual/mental illness.

"Spiritual Illness"....Sounds like a way for people to make money.
I think the earlier comment about treating one delusion with another nailed it.
"Science, logic and reason will fly you to the moon. Religion will fly you into buildings."
"Because figuring things out is always better than making shit up."
