speedy 0 #2 October 11, 2006 Seems as though it's not terrorist related. But hell, it could be the trigger for Bush to go after Iran. Dave Fallschirmsport Marl
StreetScooby 5 #3 October 11, 2006 It was a malfunctioning helicopter that hit the building. Not terrorism related. It was trying to land at a heliport nearby. We are all engines of karma

FAA just reported that it was a FIXED WING aircraft. So the helicopter must be a false report. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! SpeedRacer 1 #8 October 11, 2006 There have been a lot of plane crashes in Iran. Therefore, Iran is knowingly harboring bad aircraft pilots. Even if this pilot didn't come from Iran, we should act preemptively to stop this threat by invading Iran now. So the helicopter must be a false report. maybe it was a fixed wing helicopter (anyone have a picture of the plane concept where you'd have a rotating wing for take off and then it would lock in place during flight and act as a stationary cross lifting surface?) ... Amazon 7 #12 October 11, 2006 The aircraft had just taken off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. Aircraft is a Cirrus SR20 ......it is owned by Cory Lidle.. a NY Yankees Pitcher and apparently he was piloting it. Apparently it had a Cirrus Parachute system on board that he did not deploy. They are reporting 4 people in the 50 story apartment building were killed.

psychoswooper 2 #14 October 12, 2006 Hmm, shouldn't the building have neatly collapsed in upon itself by now?? Must have been better construction materials than the other three .
