I'll help. And I'll try to keep it about Bush. The number of points doesn't reflect how many things total he's done right or wrong or their importance -- just what I thought of and wrote down in 5 minutes.

Damn that's a lot of introduction.

- He responded appropriately in the immediate aftermath to 9/11. I.e. talking to people, and going into Afghanistan quickly.

- He's done a good job of keeping his family life largely separate from the Presidency.

Even they admitted no relation between Iraq and 9-11. So nothing but a waist of time lives and money.
At best Iraq will have a government much like Iran. Not a good thing at all.

I mostly agree with W on this one. Afganistan and the Taliban needed to be taken out. They were.

Were you aware that this was something that was public knowledge that the US was planning a september offensive as early as June 2001?

Just so you dont think its Bush bashing, it started with Clinton. Look into the history of the Taliban securing the oil pipeline for more information.

The Taliban met with the Bush-oil cartel to discuss an oil pipeline that would run through Afghanistan for his oil company. These talks went on until August 2001, when they gave the Taliban an ultimatum. An agreement was never reached. An attack was discussed early in 2001 to overthrow them and replace them with a more "accepting" government - one that would secure the pipeline.

But you might wanna give some consideration at least to the other side like others do - darius/billvon/shropshire who say why they disagree, and not just they disagree- they have proof

Signed a diesel emissions bill into law that we sorely needed

Backed off on his stand on "personal retirement accounts or nothing" on social security

Has come very close to admitting he made mistakes in the past (a good thing)

Pledged to send money to Africa to help AIDS victims, and has made good on part of that
