freebird 0 #1 January 25, 2002 The sun is out not a cloud in the sky, but the wind is blowing here in Houston. I best go jump in the evening when the wind is died down. The longer you wait ........the more sense you get.
kingbunky 3 #2 January 25, 2002 the sun is sort of out, it isn't windy, but there's two feet of snow on the ground! i think i'll wait until spring to jump. i hate people who live where it's warm enough to jump all year! freebird 0 #14 January 25, 2002 Come down for a visit. Spaceland is an awesome DZ. Another good point about living in Houston, if you don't like cold jumping, all you have to do is wait a day or two ... it will warm up.The longer you wait ........the more sense you get. AndyMan 7 #15 January 25, 2002 I don't want to hear about it.It's even going to be 60 degrees in Chicago on the weekend. I don't have a canopy. Doh!_Am
freefallfreak 0 #16 January 25, 2002 QuoteI don't have a canopy.Jump anyways...use a big black plastic garbage bag and land on a cloud...I hear they make wonderfully soft landing pads...lol.FFF
freebird 0 #17 January 25, 2002 Why don't you rent? I do it all the time. I will not have my itty bitty container until summer. Skydive Spaceland in Houston has the best rental gear. All Javelin containers and Sabre canopies from I think 230 down to the 150.......What kind of rental gear does your DZ have? The longer you wait ........the more sense you get.
