quade 3 #43 December 5, 2002 What's interesting to me is that most people are only listing films in the last 20 or so years. If you're avoiding films like Casablanca and Citizen Kane, then you're really cheating yourself out of a great experience.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

SpeedRacer 1 #49 December 5, 2002 Quote Right on!!! Nothing like an old movie on a cold, snowy day!! Yeah! hmmm I wonder if I could make it to the video store?? Fortunately the liquor store is about 50 feet from my door!!You know, I'm looking over the list & seeing all movies I've already seen. Anyone else have this problem: wandering thru the video store looking for something good & thinking you've already seen anything decent. Someone suggest some really good, lesser-known movies. Here's one: Sleep Hollow, starring Johnny Depp. It has nothing to do with the book, but it's a helluva fun movie to watch. Another good one if you like foreign movies: City of Lost Children. Very bizarre & surreal It's about a mad scientist who kidnaps children so he can steal the dreams out of their heads. Ooooh, I just thought of another fucking AWESOME movie I have: Plunkett & Macleane...It's made by the same people who made trainspotting, but its about two 18th century highwaymen. RENT IT!! you won't regret it.Now, I've done my part. Someone suggest a lesser-known movie for me now. I'll probably head over the video store in about an hour or so.
