SkymonkeyONE 3 #4 February 7, 2003 Right on, Chris! Has Beezy jumped that hand-mount yet? I want a full report in the "gear and rigging" forum when you figure out how it flies. Chuck
GroundZero 0 #5 February 7, 2003 not yet.. but we know it's gonna work great... just imagine the following scenario... (this will probably make the feds wanna see my weight and balance). "Yes you and your girlfriend can both get videos of your tandem jumps and yes you can jump on the same load. You will be jumping from that Cessna 182 over there." God I love it... can't wait! Zenister 0 #14 February 7, 2003 somthing like 3 feet or so...i havent measured it, but was there the first day he was playing with the RC box to fly it..that thing is cool...looks like an elliptical pilot chute. i hope the sky clears today so i can watch him play some more..at a 68mph fall rate, you could almost track along with him under it ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. Zenister 0 #17 February 7, 2003 LANDING?? the RC box spun in (but stood up) the first jump, then turned for the trees and got hung on the second (servos stripped see the thread in the swoop forum) i havent seen Andy fly it yet, and i just met him, but i dont think he's quite so nuts as to try and land it...____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
