Ok, it's been a while since I've actually watched it, but from what my memory's telling me I believe the answer to your question is.....oh wait, I'm nowhere near a rigger, I don't have a clue.

What was the malfunction they gave him? Wasn't it something along the lines of one riser disconnected and then they followed it up with a hard reserve pull? If I'm remembering that right they did give that kid a rather rough day. All I really remember from that part was the dude cutting away and chasing the mal down to save him. Talk about falling fast!

What surprises me was that the mal. could have been prevented w/ a gear check before boarding.

And the hard pull reserve? Could have also been prevented

hmm i think a rigger had red eares,while the reseve malfunktioned like that(becours the one who did the sabotage didnt have time to mess up the reserve

I thought THE pink porter had been at SD Dallas for a while, they sold it to Austin Skydiving Center and it was crashed on the ferry to ASC (actually crashed AT ASC).

If you're into war movies, check out A Bridge Too Far w/ Sean Connery, and The Bridge Over the River Kwai w/ Alec Guiness (Obi Wan).

I like parachuting scene in A Bridge Too Far better, but The Bridge Over the River Kwai is a little more light hearted.
