CrazyIvan 0 #8 October 20, 2003 Quotei cant... if i do that and skydiving doesnt work out then i'd be screwed... how much do ya get for winning competitions? CrazyDave 0 #10 October 20, 2003 maybe not... i believe that i am the rite 'material', and just because i want summit to fall back on it doesnt mean i aint! (and hey i wont get anywhere without money, so if i work ill get money, gud money, and then ill afford it easily).. so that proved ur theory wrong about all skydivers being poor and screwed! CrazyDave 0 #12 October 20, 2003 i live in the uk, and im not old enought to drive a car (16), ... aint that wierd, im allowed to risk my life jumping out of a plane, but im not allowed (legally) on the uk streets in a car!
metalslug 31 #13 October 20, 2003 Buy a book or two on the subject.. or a video/DVD.. shouldn't dent your savings too much. You could also just hang out at the DZ, talk to people, watch (and maybe even learn) canopy packing. If that still has you unsatisfied, some dropzones offer a 'spectator slot' at manifest for a modest fee (around $20). You ride the plane to altitude, get the view from the top, watch the jumpers exit, and land with the plane again.
CrazyDave 0 #14 October 20, 2003 i might do the book option.... and i also thought about getting my packing training, but unfortunatly im bout 2 hours away from the dropzone, and they dont do slots on the planes, they r usually very full with both students and solo's

There's no way you can lose out financially by skydiving. The best guarded secret in the world is that all skydivers are well paid for these risky feats.
