Excellent assumption. That didn't occur to me!

QuoteIt says javelin, but it doesn't look like any javelin I've ever seen. Is that a really old one or what?
Dave
Mine's a '93, and that one is newer than mine. The Javelin embroidery on the yoke I think was added after mine. At least I've never seen any embroidered like that, that were as old, or older, than mine.

I sent a message asking what the the model number was, if there was any information that might indicate what size it was. Also whether od not it came with a parachute or something, or was it just the back-pack? and how much batteries might cost to make it work properly?

It doesn't match anything in the stolen gear database. Anyone interested?

Hey this deal sounds like a real steal!!!

It's a newer model with a tuck in reserve coverflap and every thing.
It's either stolen or the person who owned it is gone for some reason.
The fact he knows about batteries is kinda strange unless he took the back of the case off.

The seller is in puerto rico. Which may be why it not showing up in the database.

You're right! Puerto Rico is such a third world kinda place, they'd never have the innernet down there.

Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Odd thing is I looked at the other item they sold before and the English is perfect, unlike this listing.

Wasn't there just a boogie in PR? Does anyone know if gear was lost/stolen? Any way to find out?

Yes. Much fun was had by all.
If you weren't there this year you should make it a point to be there next year.
There's some PR locals who hang out here, maybe one of them will know.

I'm scared of the boogie man. And some of the boogie ladies, too.
Someday, when I am pulling at 3500, and when I can handle more than 20 people in the air under canopy at the same time, and when I don't present too much of a danger to others in the sky (I've learned how to backslide really, really well. Now, I need to learn how to stop backsliding...)I will prolly go to a boogie. Until then, I shall fling myself into the sky over Elsinore and Perris....scaring the clouds and various birds, but few folks.
Glad fun was had...I just was thinking maybe something hadn't gotten into the database because people were still coming home, or they don't know about DZ.com, or whatever.
I hope you're right, Jim, and they chime in soon.

Anyone look at the other auctions this guy has had? 2 car stereos, various Jeep parts, Satelite receiver... all "like new" or "barely used." Anyone else see a pattern or is it just my cynical nature to notice things like that?

They were the buyer on most of those items, except one of the stereos and this rig.
Sarge -- did you get any answer to your questions?
