Freefly helmet with good forehead protection

Can anyone recommend a good open-faced helmet (not for camera flying) that has decent forehead protection? So many of them just have fabric up there (Aviator, Gath).

Hey!

The Guner and Mindwarp have a hard forehead. The Echo from Paragear is another economical option http://www.boneheadcomposites.com/8.html

I just bought this one brand new $65.00

Skysystems "Benny"

Screw paying 300+

Its light, it'll take a harder shot than most carbon fiber helmets, its comfortable, and has good forehead protection, has pockets for audibles, and a channel for
goggle strap.

Is there any functional difference between Guner and Mindwarp or is it just styling?

Styling & fit, ...I have an extremely comfy Gunner, the Mindwarp didn't seem to fit my oddly shaped noggin as well...

Mainly styling. The only functional difference is that you can mount a camera in an L-bracket on the mindwarp because it has flatter sides. The Guner has rounder sides (that might be why it fits better on airtwardo's funky head :P).
