likearock 1 #1 May 22, 2010 Can anyone recommend a good open-faced helmet (not for camera flying) that has decent forehead protection? So many of them just have fabric up there (Aviator, Gath).

I just bought this one brand new $65.00 Skysystems "Benny" Screw paying 300+ Its light, it'll take a harder shot than most carbon fiber helmets, its comfortable, and has good forehead protection, has pockets for audibles, and a channel for goggle strap.__ My mighty steed

TiaDanger 0 #8 May 23, 2010 +1 for a Cookie Ozone...My Ozone is so comfortable and provides great protection. And for the record: the appropriate ranking of cool modes of transportation is jet pack, hover board, transporter, Batmobile, and THEN giant ant. Styling & fit, ...I have an extremely comfy Gunner, the Mindwarp didn't seem to fit my oddly shaped noggin as well... ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~

The only functional difference is that you can mount a camera in an L-bracket on the mindwarp because it has flatter sides. The Guner has rounder sides (that might be why it fits better on airtwardo's funky head ).Bonehead Composites (951) 943-1166 www.boneheadcomposites.com www.facebook.com/boneheadcomposites
glgflyer 0 #13 May 29, 2010 I'm thinking about the HR2 from Skysystems. Excellent forehead protection!
