Food you can't get anywhere else

Recommended Posts

DAMN! Now you have me thinking about all of this tasty food that I can't get right now!!!

For dessert...

Graeter's Ice Cream in Cincinnati. www.graeters.com Mmmmm...Peanut butter chocolate chunk

That stuff is just wrong it tastes so good.

If you watch Oprah you might remember that she featured this ice cream a summer or two ago. A friend that worked there told me that after she gave out samples on her show they had to hire 3 extra people at that store to handle mail orders alone.

It's expensive to order (about $10 a pint) but worth every penny once in a while.
Killing threads since 2004.

Spam Musubi's from any 7-11 in Hawaii

How about Matsumoto's Shave Ice?

Breakfast in a Barrel - Haleiwa Cafe, Haleiwa

Johnny's Pizza - Bleeker Street, NYC. Real wood-fired pizza.
Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.

Oh god, the Shave Ice---I MISS IT (hold the beans though)

Dang, 3 years there and no one clued me into Breakfast in a Barrel---sounds excellent.

I need some Loco Moko too, and some Poke! Dammit, I miss hawaiin food.

I need a Kahlua Sandwich from Da Kine (the buggas are loaded)!

Screw the hawaiin beaches, I'm gonna have to go back just to get local kine grinds :)

FatBoy's Ribs in Kissimmee, FL on 192.

All you can eat ribs, corn, and homemade cole slaw. UNBELIEVABLE. The sauce is worth the trip alone.

And BillyBob, one block off campus at Penn in Philadelphia. Cheesesteak that hits your stomach like a BOMB.

I'm still a sucker for anything at Girabaldi's Mexican... they're closed for mass though (which is almost every f-in day)... it's in a dive near Kel-Lac in San Antonio ;)

Tho I gotta avoid Mexican like the plague now... wanna stay at a 30"w, not a 42" B|

I'm from Chapel Hill, NC and we have a couple here. First is this bar/restaurant called Linda's and they have the BEST cheese fries in the world.

The second is a restaurant/drunk food place right above linda's called hector's and they sell a bacon cheeseburger on a pita that is to die for. Don't forget the Tdaziki sauce...however you spell it.

HMMMM...I'm hungry now.

Bunny Chow - a very South African thing. Half or quarter loaf of bread, hollowed out and filled with curry. With the scooped out bread on top to dunk with. Best thing after a late night pub session and available mainly in KwaZulu Natal.

Damn you all! I'm hungry now!!!

Another thing you can't get anywhere else is that Mexican restaurant that I forgot the name to! :D They have lots of good food. Also, where my teacher dances (Raw Bar) has this stuff that I have no idea of what it is, but it is sooooo very good.
There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
