kansasskydiver 0 #1 August 25, 2005 I'm taking a trip to vegas end of Sept and need to know a place to stay, thing is, what's the best hotel and best room for a decent price? Bellagio and the Venetian are up there right now, but what else is there?<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist!

NWFlyer 2 #6 August 25, 2005 Monte Carlo's pretty sweet and tends to be a little more reasonably priced than Bellagio or Venetian. However, you can't go wrong with either of those or Mandalay Bay if they're in your price range. Mandalay's spa rocks!"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. hexadecimal 0 #8 August 25, 2005 Bellagio is awesome... and the Wynn is supposed to be even better, but neither is going to be very reasonable in price.

lawrocket 3 #14 August 25, 2005 Hey, if in Vegas at the end of September, there's a hockey game at the MGM Grand between the LA Kings and the Colorado Avalanche. I'm upset now - it'll be two years straight without my being able to attend. Grrr... My wife is hotter than your wife.
kansasskydiver 0 #15 August 25, 2005 Did ya not see the pictures and floor plans? And no, it's a business/pleasure trip. I was gonna stay at the Venetian palazzo but then heard about the Wynn. Amazing!!! The whole place is HUGE look at the property map<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist!
Cornholio 0 #16 August 25, 2005 QuoteI liked Mandalay Bay!!!...by the pyramid place Exactly! I've stayed at about 75% of the hotels on the strip, and by far the best (but definitely not the cheapest) is theHOTEL @ Manadlay Bay. It's only about 10-20 bucks more a night than regular Manadlay Bay rooms. It's got everything you need from a hotel - great casino, food, best pools and the Lazy River. Plus it's got a monorail to Excalibur and Luxor where you can get over to MGM and catch the new monorail to other places on the strip. Plus each theHOTEL room has 3 flat screen LCDs with one in the bathroom. And - it's got the best view of the strip if you ask for a room with a strip view. Its tower is situated right at the end of the strip and you get to look down and see almost all the hotels on the strip. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! katiebear21 0 #17 August 25, 2005 I've stayed at the one that looks like a castle, what the hell is the name? Oh yeah, Excalibur! They do that jousting thing with live animals and people in the basement. That's kinda cool! Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here
ACMESkydiver 0 #18 August 25, 2005 We usually stay at the Four Seasons, it's in the top of Mandalay Bay...but it's pricey. Rack rate was less than what you got at the Wynn, though! OUCH! DO NOT ever stay at the Imperial Palace on the strip. What a fucking dive. -Don't get me wrong anyone, that's cool if it's you and some buddies going cheap, but NEVER take someone that you intend to be romantic with to this hotel. EEEGAD!!! My brother-in-law booked this trip for us and all my inlaws and it had rooms here...OMG, nasty, NASTY place. That was the trip from hell anyway. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
dixieskydiver 0 #19 August 25, 2005 I've stayed at the Venetian a couple of times and for my family's buck (they go to vegas once or twice a year) it's the best hotel in town.
