I think my all-time favorite is "paper view TV".

Those who place the period, exclamation point, or question mark outside the quotes. :D
Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

People who "resemble" a remark annoy the shit out of me.
One "resents" a remark, but does not "resembles" it (unless there is such a thing as "looking like" a remark...:S).

:|

Resemble in this context is used 'tongue in cheek'. One would indeed normally resent a remark, but resemble is simply used in a joking manner, suggesting that the remark may apply to the reader in question.

The worst ones for me are the technical ones that end up having an entirely different meaning:-

Decent vs Descent
Break vs Brake
Yolk vs Yoke.

There is an article on the home page where at least two of the above are used....

And then there is the drouge. What exactly is a drouge?:P

Irregardless... :|

"Infer" used when it should be "imply"

"I should of done that"

"It's a doggy dog world"

A preposition is a bad word to end a sentence with.
...

The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

Yes, I have several friends who use "resemble that remark" correctly, e.g. tongue-in-cheekily.

I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama
