MikeForsythe 0 #1 November 26, 2006 Mango Mike's rules to life, 1. I don't ever live any place colder than the inside of my refrigerator. 2. If you are asleep I will let you sleep, do the same for me. 3. Live by the golden rule (the real one) 4. Water is always allowed to be replaced by anything with rum in it. 5. If there is no rum margaritas are an acceptable replacement. 6. Mi Casa es Su Casa 7. Let your children live, they will have your grandchildren and that is one of Gods greatest gifts. 8. When sending your grandchildren home, give them Skittles and GoFast, it is revenge on your children! 9. Listen more than you talk, you will lean more and be less obnoxious. 10. Be reverent, love as much as you can and leave the world a better place.Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is!
kbordson 8 #2 November 26, 2006 only thing I would really change is the Red Bull to GoFast.... you do like your grandkids, doncha? Taste is developed early. Don't make them drink [shudder] redbull [shudder]

sartre 0 #6 November 26, 2006 I like those. Can't say I live by them perfectly, but I certainly feel better about life in general when I do. But could we add the substitute rum for water rule? I really like that one too!
 Nightingale 0 #7 November 26, 2006 My rules: 1. Family comes first. 2. Friends are the family you choose. See rule #1. 3. Never make up your mind absolutely. New evidence must be taken into account. 4. Listen to your instincts. Your brain is trying to tell you something. 5. Life's too short to drink bad wine. 6. A job is something you have that gives you money so you can have a life. When the job becomes your life, you have a problem. Keep priorities straight. 7. Travel. You can learn more in a week of travelling than you can in a year of school. It's a big planet. Go see it. 8. If you adopt a pet, you are accepting a responsibility. No denial of medical treatment because it's expensive, no finding the pet a new home because it's inconvenient. 9. If you think you can't do something, you're probably right. 10. Nobody ever looked back on life and said "I wish I spent more time vacuuming." In the years since college every job I've taken has resulted in less money, but greater enjoyment, and I'll be damned if now after 8 years I've found something that combines awesome work and a damn good time all at the same time! We'll all die way too soon to be unhappy with what we are doing! Edited to add: Yup, I'm also single, no kids.
