wildcard451 0 #15 September 17, 2007 Quote15th/19th watching the skins kick ass but jumping before the game I have this feeling that the skydiving will be the happiest part of your trip. The remainder is going to be a huge letdown.
AggieDave 6 #16 September 17, 2007 SD Dallas isn't any where near the stadium in Irving. You're better off getting two different rooms for the trip for the different nights in different places. For SD Dallas there are some good hotels in Sherman, which is about 20 minutes away. Or you can go to McKinney which is about 30 minutes away. The Holiday Inn Express in Sherman is only about a year old, so its all new and shiney, which is kind of nice. For the football game...good luck and check the internet.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

billeisele 122 #19 September 17, 2007 AggieDave has it right, i usually stay in Sherman, Hampton Inn or Comfort Inn, if you'll only be jumping 1 day then McKinney puts you back closer to DallasGive one city to the thugs so they can all live together. AggieDave 6 #21 September 17, 2007 QuoteProbably jumping friday and saturday Turtle said skydive dallas is about an hour away from the stadium is that right Sure, if you do 90mph and hit no traffic or accidents. Plan for closer to 90 minutes to two hours. Having gone to a few Cowboys games over the years and having dealt with that traffic, plan for a minimum of a 2 hour drive on game day if you come from whitewright. Normal, traffic and not during rush hour you'll spend about a hour and 15 minutes to get from the DZ to Irving. You can save some time taking to tollroad from Frisco, which is super easy to get to from the DZ.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
