I am not really religious so my comment will seem uninformed but here goes. If Satan wants us to turn against God, and Satan also runs Hell then why does he work so hard to make it an awfull place? It seems to be counterproductive as a means of getting people to sin. Why not try to compete with heaven? Why not see what heaven offers and try to offer a better deal? I am serious because this always bugged me. Surely he must realize that this whole burning and suffering thing must be turning away potential converts. Imagine how many converts he would get if he said people could sin all they want in the most debaucherous ways and still have a better afterlife than if they live in a shell all their lives as prudes (which many churches seem to require)?? Can you explain this? Am I missing something? My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.
