Dude, I think they're produced in Canada. It's got to be thrilling after the boredom of winter there. I live in Canada and winter is very exciting for me (maybe not others). I love to pull that e-brake around every turn I take and launching myself off of cliffs into champagne powder. But when I'm not doing that, ya it can be a bit boring....that is why i drink so damn much. building snow forts fucking rocks too!
DrewEckhardt 0 #7 November 4, 2008 QuoteThey also need make those shows a little more exciting somehow. Some of those episodes are mind numbingly boring. While I don't usually watch TV, I got stuck in a long-term-stay hotel for over a month and saw a few episodes. The brush, record, and airplane propellor episodes were much less predictable and therefore more interesting than popular night time TV shows. I mostly get a kick out of those other shows by predicting the plot and providing my own dialog for the characters. Out loud.

Icon134 0 #10 November 4, 2008 actually I kind of like the show... I don't think it is boring at all to see how things are made... even if most people would think if is mundane... Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...

LadiDadi 0 #13 November 4, 2008 QuoteIts the fucking music, mind numbing. Noooooo! The music is the best part! They have the same six or seven tunes they play. What other show can you watch that will teach you how erasers are made while playing porn music? If you can't laugh at yourself, I'll be happy to do it for you. **************************** Be like the cupcake and suck it up. Unstable 8 #14 November 4, 2008 I like that Show!! I don't think it's supposted to be adreneline-packed excitement, I think it's kinda cool how Discovery is getting back to it's more documentary-based roots. Heck, I'm a 5th year Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering student, and we watch that show ALL the time. = )=========Shaun ==========

pirana 0 #20 November 4, 2008 Cool show; but too many assembly line segments. I know, that is how most stuff is made these days; but once you see a couple hundred assembly lines, there is not a lot more to learn. Make at least half the segments more along the lines of craftsman-type stuff and it would be much better." . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley

Tuna-Salad 0 #22 November 4, 2008 I always liked the show but can agree new episodes are needed. I also think it would be interesting to see a show about some of the machines used to make the stuff. The speed and precision at which they work is pretty impressive.Millions of my potential children died on your daughters' face last night.
