darora15 0 #1 October 12, 2011 There is a lady who is suing Continental airlines for excessive turbulence. She claims she now has PTSD and can't fly anymore which is bad for her job. JohnMitchell 16 #3 October 12, 2011 Another fully entitled victim. I once received a letter from the IRS saying I owed them a bunch more $$$$. It took almost a year to clear up that mess. Since then I've been unable to do my own taxes and had hired an accountant. Think I could sue the IRS for PTSD and anguish?

In fact, I predict it will get worse and worse. wmw999 2,334 #5 October 12, 2011 Well, considering this happened in Texas, where they already have tort reform, I'm not sure it'll make that much difference. You just can't stop stupid sometimes Wendy P. There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

My pet peaves are the people who clap on landing and the people who start praying out loud as you come in to land (only exception to this is me praying when landing in a skydiving plane of course). I wouldn't be surprised if she thinks that turbulence is something that a pilot can see and fly around (like potholes in a road).Experienced jumper - someone who has made mistakes more often than I have and lived. popsjumper 2 #23 October 13, 2011 God help the airline had she spilled hot coffee in her lap. Funny story: On a flight to NJ, the pilot came on and told everyone to put seat belts on because we would be hitting some turbulence. Now this was right in the middle of the meal (yes, it was ages ago). You can imagine what happened.... Food, trays, miscellaneous items AND people hit the ceiling and it was messy, messy, messy. Ooooooo, Oooooo! Maybe I can sue Aerodyne because my canopy bucks me around in turbulence and I just HATE that...it scares me! It affects my income because I won't take students up in that radical stuff. My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus.
