pilotdave 0 #7 January 10, 2005 Other than material (and hopefully workmanship), how does it differ from a Z1? Dave
diablopilot 2 #8 January 10, 2005 The shape is slightly different, changes to the nose area, the neck collar works much better, the closure system is at the top of the visor and is both very secure and easy to use. Oh yeah, probably comes witha Bonehead sticker on it.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. VectorBoy 0 #13 January 10, 2005 QuoteOn YOUR head? Well there the problem of the freakish shape of your head..... I never worry about that as bonehead has them bake-able liners and if that doesn't work chris said I can stick my whole head in the oven and reshape that. AggieDave 6 #18 January 13, 2005 Can you give us some "hints" though? Is it going to be of normal size (not HUGE like one of the other full faces BH makes)? Dual audibles? Flip up lens or more like a Z1? --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
hottamaly 1 #19 January 14, 2005 There is only so many designs one can use to build helmets. It will have a flip up lens with professionally treated anti-fog, neoprene neck closer and stylish enough to please most. We know we can't please all. It will accomodate double audibles, no velcro on the outside and a unique lens locking system. No it's nothing like the Havok. That's all for now. koz2000 1 #20 February 9, 2005 Got my first Mamba yesterday. It's very comfortable, and I like the neoprene neck. It seems very secure. The flip-up lens is very easy to open (even thought you have to use two hands) and even easier to close. I don't think it could come open in freefall. As Linda said it's nothing like the Havok, it has very good lines, so nobody (for the most part) should mind wearing it as far as style goes.______________________________________________ - Does this small canopy make my balls look big? - J. mnealtx 0 #23 February 9, 2005 sweet! edit: just hit the site... damn, that thing looks GOOD!! Of course, with my huge melon there may not be room for an audible, but I like the idea of an internal pocket a lot more than an external....Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim.
