douwanto 22 #1 December 31, 2007 We lost our mate to violence and hate his heart was pure and open you see Now we know his soul is free His time was spent with laughter and cheer shared with all he loved so dear through the sky he soared with ease he captured the moment in times like these We wish he was here with his wonderful smile He would help us all forget for a while How empty our hearts and lives will be for Now that he soars on Wing's of Free I found myself sitting here thinking of Lee and wrote this little quip. I have never written a poem before or even thought of it. This just sort of came out. We all miss you Mate, watch over Brandy and your family and friends. Thanks for showing us the world is way to serious and sharing yourself with us when we needed it the most... You always knew how to lighten the moment and ease the pain in times like these.
