BillyVance 34 #1 September 30, 2015 Been a while since we've had a hurricane projected to make landfall... Looks like the Del Marva peninsula is the target, give or take a couple hundred miles. http://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/hurricane-joaquin-to-hammer-us-east-coast-with-flooding-strong-winds/ar-AAeULkW?li=AAa0dzB"Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

dpreguy 14 #4 October 1, 2015 It isn't a hurricane. It's a tropical storm. Ooo my weatherman says in his most frightening voice, "Sustained winds up to 80 mph". Big f deal. You East Coast pussies. Happens every year there and suddenly it's a calamity, not just another day that should have been prepared for. At the lake, Winter, lake frozen, winds of 111 miles/hr. No one noticed. We get winds here over 80 a bunch of times a year. Sometimes 90. Don't even notice them. Buck up a bit.

It's up to 115mph category 3 now, but likely won't stay up there by landfall anyway. Remember Hurricane Hugo in 1989? That was the last big motherfucker to hit the mid-Atlantic coast with 135-140mph winds in SC. Boomerdog 0 #11 October 1, 2015 Quote Is this an illegal hurricane??? My my! For even asking the question that a hurricane with an Hispanic name would be illegal. Such racist overtones! I'm shocked! Shocked I say! There is NO such thing as an ILLEGAL hurricane! NEVER! Destructive as hell but NOT illegal! Shame on you Amazon! And Gomer Pyle says, "Shame, Shame, Shame!"
