I know it's just a silly superstition, but famous people seem to die in "threes" (along with a lot of other things).

Medowlark Lemmon of the Harlem Globetrotters died Sunday. He was 83. I saw the 70s era Globetrotters when I was a kid. They were great.

Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead died Saturday. He had been "not well" for a while, but was doing ok. Until they found a very aggressive tumor in his brain and neck on the 24th.

Stars, celebs, famous people. It was just the first word that came to mind.

I know it really doesn't happen that in "threes". It just seems to at times. Far more the human tendency to group in three than anything else (think about how much stuff groups in three).

And I certainly don't "obsess" about those people.

If it was a Kardashian, I would have ignored it.

But both Lemmon and Lemmy were far more than "just people."

Ground breaking in their respective fields, hugely influential to those that followed in their steps, legends among their fans, and actually pretty decent people.
