A big input ( turning ) in back flying are your legs ....... you just can't get away from it. Life is short ... jump often.

At $40 a pair, why would you hesitate to change them every year ? Life is short ... jump often.

He could try skydiving .... just a thought .... Life is short ... jump often.

Mine are sewn just under my chest straps. They are faced to be pulled down, not up. They feel much more stable sew to a jump suit. They can be grabbed with either hand. Life is short ... jump often.

I've crushed a lot of snaps in my short time. The tool is a big part. The one Jerry showed looks like a winner. In this day and age though, and I've used these too, on wingsuits ...... Rare Earth Magnet applications where they can be used. Experiment. Life is short ... jump often.

There should be a simulated sizing box shape near the boarding gate. If you can put ( squish ) it in, it is OK. Life is short ... jump often.

Quote Hi Marcel. I was beside Ego once when his reserve came out just as he planed out. Luckily he shut it down quickly. I believe he was inadvertently set to Student. Got it all on video. Life is short ... jump often.

It happens in the Winter. I figure it is from your body heat. I sewed a lens cleaner onto my jumpsuit cuff to wipe the lens after opening or before tandem lands ( if that is what your videoing ). Life is short ... jump often.

You can use a "T" style tongue switch ( or bite ... I like the tongue switch). Just turn your cam on during jump run. No light is needed. Rebels are great on continuous mode ( 2 to 3 shots per second ). They don't tend to "buffer" during shots like some cameras. They are also heavy. You can buy a wider lens also. 16mm or less. I'm thinking the opposite of Skymama ........ You won't get work right away. If you have $1200 or so, take the AFF course where you are. You can do it in less than a week if staff is available. Then move when you move and jump where you move. Life is short. Don't let this moment pass you by. That is my opinion. Life is short ... jump often.

I haven't heard anyone mention collapsing his slider. That is all I ever do. Mainly just to get rid of the flappy noise. Life is short ... jump often.

why disconnect the RSL prior to main cutaway in a side-by-side?
jumpsalot-2 replied to mixedup's topic in Safety and Training
Would you consider changing container types for your peace of mind ? I only have 2 cut-aways. I was fast to the reserve handle on both, but the RSL beat me both times. I'm glad the RSL was there. Life is short ... jump often. -
Pay the $700 ... you get what you pay for. Have you ever seen a car fire ? Life is short ... jump often.
