  1. Why not? Since you bought the CD you 'have a license' to the IP.
  2. Not really. If it's standing you up there's usually a pilot chute and some kind of ball of crap over your head and it's probably slowed you down to ninety or the high eighties mph. I once cutaway from a streamer mal and felt the "drop" effect when my 3 ring separated.
  3. I guess nobody here went through aff where the decision alt is 2500" lol I only wanted to know what happened and when did you decide that you didnt really need 2500" anymore.. Is just because other people did it.. so you did it too? is it because its not safe to pull so high? is it because you need the extra 6seconds of freefall? Just curious.. Ive seen people with lots of jumps say they pull at 3500 to 4k.. and Ive seen people with low jump numbers.. that pull at 2500.. Personaly Im comfortable waving off at 4 and pulling when my airspace is clear.. I was just wondering if you all had a secret that you werent telling me...lol
  4. Im not sure.. thats why Im asking you guys what you do
  5. When you have your first high speed mal how much altitude would you want? Think about it

  9. oh on the first one, I think I may have had a fired brake, on the second one I had 4-5 linetwists, It flew OK for 3 or 4 sec then it started heading 4 the ground.
  10. meby 2 in 600 jumps, I'm not really relegious about unttwisting my brake lines, so Ill take a look at them, thanks for the idea
  11. On my first one I rode it for three revolutions, was thrown clear and had enough horizontal speed to get on my belly before dumping the reserve (I had a reserve at 1800 feet) Last week I had another and as soon as it started diving I cut away and dumped, but I was still on my back. Would you ride it a little (given sufficent altitude) to make sure you got thrown clear? Or just loose it and use it?
  12. I will explain the problem in detail so you don't have to QA it yourself: On Linux the most current flash plugin is version 7 When you open a site that requires Flash > 7 you get an immediate redirect to the Flash download site which allows you to download flash version 7 (ouch) so this is really a problem with the flash player. An unfortunate side effect is that you never see the html only link. PD has the same problem. Cheers.
  13. Thanks, I thought I was going to have to dig through a tcpdump to find the link :)
  14. Nah, you can't seel the link, you get a redirect to the flash version 7 install page by the (installed) flash player. I'd try opera but the new version core dumps on me.
  15. Firefox on FC4, latest Flash player for Linux is version 7
