Actually it was a left hand carve through the lane. True, I didn't make it out of the pond, butt (pun) was not an ass skip. Might even still have the vid to prove it. Can ya feel the love in here. Wow, you guys are vicious. I'm going back to my room now to cry myself to sleep. "Early birds may get the worm, but the Rats get the cheese."

Yes, I'm a loser. Still trying to figure out how to put the pic in here.

Not really clean, this was a huge pic taken off of a digital SLR. Had to down size it so I could e-mail it around. But this a cool thread. Thanks K
  6. Now, Now Robert don't forget the women too. Are you saying we need to be in Dallas this weekend? Well, I'll have to check my calender. Big Wayz and Blu Skyz GR2
  7. Has anybody watched the special on Discovery Wings channel called Freefall? What are some opinions? Haven't seen it yet but my girlfriend called me this morning and told me about it. She said it was very informative. Big Wayz and Blu Skyz, Bryan
  8. Hey Chuck, I know for a fact when I participated in Project Horizon at Elsinore that Missy Nelson spent the entire five days writing a story and interviewing participants. When I recieved last months issue and saw that there were a few pics and one paragraph, I have to say I was quite disappointed. I am going to have to disagree with you, that no one sends anything in. I have seen it many times and have heard people complain when they send a letter or article in it gets hacked to pieces and is published totally out of context. A young lady just this past weekend told me she sent a letter to the editor and it got published although it looked nothing like the original letter she had in her hand. Hope this isn't true across the board. Bryan

I have been told that we alike. heehee Well maybe one of these days I'll be good enough to get my D-license. AD-D that is. The USPA licensing system is a joke. D-license holder is referred to as a "Master Skydiver", whatever!!! I'm coming up on 3400 and I don't know jack. But I'm learning. Of course at 200 jumps, holding my freshly printed D-license, I knew everything about skydiving. That's almost like women, dated a few in high school and thought I knew everything I need to know. Now at the end of a 7 year marriage I have come to find out I really don't know them at all. Isn't life grand. Spread the love... Bryan
  12. Good call Clay. That is pretty much what I tell most people to do also. Actually, if someone that I don't personally know and am familiar with, before I take them on a freefly jump, I will do a belly jump with them first. As much as we don't like belly flying that IS the position where we save our lives on "almost" every jump. (I have deployed head down before-on video-don't do it!) But with the gear question, get a local experienced freeflier to look it over. Bryan GR#2

I do have my "A" though. AD-A that is. Hey Robert, How do you like that? Took a shot for ya brother. Big-Ways & Blu Skys

  15. Thanks to everyone especially my girlfriend. She acquired a corporate headquarters phone number and I called and asked for the CEO. Long story short, they found my check and it is supposed to be here tomorrow. I'll keep you updated. Good question though, how can they deliver a rig or canopy in 3 days but it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get a check. Bryan
  16. Curious if this has happened to anyone else. I posted a canopy for sale right here on our own dropzone.com. A person in Norfolk VA decided he wanted it. So I shipped it COD with UPS. It got delivered on time and the recipient paid with a cashiers check or money order. That was on the 24th of May. UPS will not take any action to help, they won't even return my e-mails and they keep me on hold for hours. I have since tried to contact the person I sold it to, to cancel the money order and send another. Now I get no replies from him also. Any advice would be appreciated. I know, don't trust anyone and don't use UPS. Thanks, Bryan
  17. Boy, I'm not sure if I can remember all the excuses that I have used. The best ones although have been quite recent seeing as though I am running low in the excuse category. How about; Dad died Mom died Dog died Daughter has head lice Going to see the divorce lawyer Going to see the bankruptcy lawyer Got evicted and have to move Car broke down, Fixing car (This is for a two day pass) And old faithful, gotta pick up a friend at the airport (with layovers this one can keep you out-of-pocket all day.) Hope some of these help, Good luck on the Wedsday jumps at X-Keys and tell Tim Hanrahan to get a real job. Bryan
  18. I agree with Josh. Just sell the vid. If you knew how many times I handed a customer a roll of film and they say "What are these?" or "Wow, I get pictures too? So like we said, sell the vid and give the pics as a comp. They really feel like they are getting something for free. Make everyone leave happy. Bryan
  19. What model Panasonic do you have and is it a side-mountable camera? I'm looking for a fun jumping camera setup. Tired of the big ol' top mount setup. Bryan

Now all you need to do is go out and get your D-license. heehee Love you man.
  21. Wow Jessica, Your always so quiet at the dz. I didn't think you had it in you. Nice jab. Bryan
  22. Paul, You guys definitely rock, up there in X-Keys. My best in one day is 14, all dubbed and delivered but one. She had to catch an airline flight. We are still trying to beat Tim Hanrahan's record here in San Marcos of I think it was either 16 or 18. Tim came back down for the winter and showed me his log book. Something along the lines of like 20 jumps in a day. Everything from tandem vid to AFF to tandem instructor. Whew, I'm tired just thinking about it. Tell Tim to get a real job. Bryan GR#2
  23. I've been shooting tandem vids for my dz for about 5 years although I can't afford to buy another tandem, my dz does have a $99 tandem jump for your second tandem on the same day as your first. If the tandem student decides to do the second jump for $99 I will go and video them again for free. That is if I happen to screw up the first one. Bryan GR#2
  24. Yea for Lisa. And kudos to Rob, really liked your post. Anyway, Is the PPPB ever have plans to tour, like one in each state. I'm feeling the love again, Bryan
