  1. dearst Derek i am at performance variable factory. when i looked closely the problem can oocur orn any rigs, csuse shit packing. i saw a girl packing 100 chutes a day--! all she does is keep 2 meter lines coiled and kept inside the container so there is chnce of line catch and lines will go around the no2 flap. blue skies santhosh life is a daring adventure or nothing at all

  6. yes i amhaving certificate issued on 30 Dec 2000 that i worked as safety equipment worker and my work area included servicing of ejection type parachutes, man carrying, dingies, personnel survival equipments, etc etc will it make any sense to FAA. i ive in India comes to germany for 3 months to renew my tandem rating, uspa ratings. can i take the FAA regulations part only at Frankfurt. thankg in advance for kind advice santhosh life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
  7. dear Derek i am having acertificate which says i worked as rigger, it says i worked and my knoweldge in all ejection systems parachutes, mancarrying parachutes, dingies, co2 cylinders, etc etc. i also having certificate from on parachute manufacturers(defrance) issued by FAA senior rigger that i can assemble, service all defrance range of parachutes. will this make any sense to FAA life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
  8. dearst Derek thank u so much for doing excellent work for adding all those links. i will ask u advice. i was military rigger for 9 year from 1991-2000. i was master rigger. presently i hold DFV(german parachute association license) and INDIAN approval to pack and maintain the parachutes. how i can proceed to get my FAA license as the experience considered i got about 2000 reserve packs and about 300 round reserves of 22 different containers except 2 pin racer. i am maintaining log book supplies by para-gear of all those packing. i did not get VISA to visit US, but every year i visit germany. any FAA senior rigger certificate stating that i packed 20 parachutes is that good enough. i can get from FAA senior rigger from germany. where i have to show my practical skill at frankfurt or any loft. i beleive i can takethe test at Frankfurt airport. kindly guide me. i got 2 months time at germany. will my indian authorisation DGCA certificate(FAA of INDIA) will do any good. kindly take ur time and send me mails at [email protected] or [email protected] thanking u in advance
  9. there are atlest 2 squadrons of turbinne DC-3 its called BT-67 in Thialnd , i made about 25 skydives in last 2 years during boogiees. life is a daring adventure or nothing at all

  11. hi ICON is epitome of al rigs. there are lot of small good things which is not noticeable form outside, like reserve fre bag, where there is separate channel so that cypres loop does not come in contact with the cloth matrial, alos small poccket for main closing loop, quality of stitching is good and riser insert are there with cut in back pad. to me it was one of the niceswt rig. i have skydived using 15 different rig. this one is the best. The Pilot the name itself suggest its the best canopy i ever found for the intermediate gets faster under high wing loading life is a daring adventure or nothing at all

  13. hi gettting rich is never been possible for me. yes of course i have brought parachute from the money which i earned in packing and doing tandems and some demo jumps. when everything was in place i lost the cessna in acrash so squared to 1(may be -). so took new profession, kept all parachute in cup boards life is a daring adventure or nothing at all

  17. once one of the new guy was jumping first time hipmounted ripcord he never jumped it before he did all the time hand deploy pilotchute. the first time he told he thought it was hand dploy chute so he threw away next jumphe took hand deployone and during pull he was holding it thinking its ripcod handle he drop the handle parachute was deploying and he deployed reserve and he came back and told he did cutaway so he lost main handle. when i told there was no ripcord to hold on he was dumb struck it happened in indian militray life is a daring adventure or nothing at all

  19. if the license is current and having all logbooks evrything in order, no harm in allowing the jump. they should not charge for it. i beleive doing tandem is aseroius game nobody would like to do if they are confident. life is a daring adventure or nothing at all

  23. hi guys i got aproblem, it looks like moisture is trapped inside my Ring sight. i tried to clean with Chamouse leather from both side. its blocking the vision. i hope its not a fungus. anybody can advice me how to overcomethis problem life is a daring adventure or nothing at all

  25. hi friends i was travelliing from Munich-Zurich-male-colombo-bangalore on 11 Sep 2004, after reaching bangalore (india) on 12 sep i found the checked bagge has not reached. after 5 days the airline is still unable to trace out which airport its missing. i had my student main and reserve brand new i purchased as well as mine Vector-3 with sabre, any assistance or guidence will be highly appriciated. life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
