  10. hi Guys i just came across a system called Malwa. Its having PPKU as AAD on Reserve. PPKU is russian model and works really fine as main parachute opener. the way Russian Designed the working of this instrument on Reserve parachute is Superb. Brief Description: The Main right Rear Riser is connected to 30-45 CM cable(Similar to cut away cable). this inturn connects to reserve ripcord cable end and the PPKU is connected to it. In Normal Deployment of main main risers stretches out and it pulls the yellow cable, no reserve activation takes place. Incase if main is not opened by the Preset Altitude of PPKU, the PPKU retracts the cable and reserve ripcord cable and activates reserve. this workd fine only in total malfunctons. this systems fails under spinnig main. there are other features which i never saw on any modern sport rig. 1. the Reserve is square instead of freebag its having Sleeve and pilot chute. 2. Lines are attached to risers not by Soft links neither Drings/French connectors, Instead all lines are attached to circular Stain less Steel Ring. 3. The main Parachute is about 250 Sq feet... there is no 50 % brake seting loop in steering lines... also like para glider they have Given D line stalling loops. 4.rigging line material i have never saw before.. Golden in colour flat does not look like Kevlar, Its not Dacron/Braided polyster. 5. Main parachute rigging line attached to Flares like accuracy canopy. 6. The rear portion of the slider is stitched with piece of fabric and of the same dimension of slider..... so after opening you can see slider and square piece of cloth fluttering in the air. i tried to gather some info on the system, nothing was avialble on the net. i made 2 jumps... it flown like student parachute flared like Accuracy. i am attaching the photo... some photo of slider and Canopy i will get later. PLESE LET ME KNOW WHERE I CAN PROCURE PPKU INSTRUMENT ITS COST AND DEALER. I TRIED ON NET NO INFO IS AVIALABLE. life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
  11. thanks ROb i will await your reply. regards santhosh life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
  12. hi, i am rigger and skydiver from india. Recently i went to train Indian Army skydiving Team. I saw Skymaster-230 with Tempo-230 and Naro Coantiners supplied to Army june 2006(15 complete system). as per my knoweldge company was shut down in 2003. the delaer over here delivered the parachute without any serila no... when asked by the indian Army team some body from the dealer side wrote randemly numbers as serial no in the warning label of Main and reserve and Containers. they have wrtieen down manufacturing year as 2006. can some one help to figure out are these parachutes are genuinely manufactured by PISA in year 2006. This will help to bloack theis dealer from conning indian army in future... the systems were sold along with Cypre-2, skymaster-230,tempo-230 Naro containers @ 3918US$ each... if some body can give aprox price for these piece of shit Equipment, i will be greatfull life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
  13. India is in Still infancy stage. Indian Navy wanted to train its people in freefall. They dont have Airbourne school . so 8 guys went to Austrlia and did the rating and excercised the AFF rating in NAVY life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
  14. Jumping from 14,000 feet one can log 70 sec freefallltime it takes 206 jumps, thats what exactly 8 skydivers form Indian Navy did in 2 months..... life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
  15. there some Indian Navy guys completed their 200 jump and got Austrlian AFF rating. one instructor hit the other instructor after separation and has to stop jumping for a while. It happened in Austrlia, Austrlian ratings are easier than USPA. I am sure if those instructor get bad student only god can save...... Lesson is i prefer guy with 500 jumps in 3 years than 2 months wonder. life is a daring adventure or nothing at all
