  1. Is God's power not enough to bless the whole world? Do people think its better to only bless the US? God can do anything, why not bless the world? I mean, all people have to do is change one single word in a sentence, and they could bring an entire world of blessings to billions of people, yet they choose not to. discuss.
  2. Oh yes, I do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3609OtM138c
  3. I think it means no provider can restrict content to their customers but....I wonder how long it would take for an administration to change that definition to something they'd define as "fair" (and no, Dems or Reps, when either are in excess power, both scare me on that account) Did you ever think that this fear could possibly be related to the fact that you don't understand the issue?
  4. Print media is dying... Why keep it on life support with tax payer funds? +1. Another example of interfering with capitalism. But at what expense? Do you really think we're better off if corporate media will further dominate news sources? This is what blogs/vlogs/websites are for now. Can reach a much larger and more targetted audience. Corporate media will have a hard time controlling the Internet.

  6. Yes. it is the only one needed. Same for health care and they are already too deep into it before the crap they are trying to pass today comes into the picture. This has nothing to do with health care. This is something that will help the country. And without a single reason as to why this could possibly be a bad thing, you go ranting about bailouts and state-run media. Like I said before, its sad how paranoid the conservatives are getting. And again, is it sad you have to define someone who disagrees with you a paranoid. There is no reason to have this passed. None what so ever Its not paranoia because I disagree with you. Its paranoia because you have a completely irrational fear of state run media with absolutely no facts or reason to back it up. This is as simple as cutting failing newspapers some slack so they can provide news to the people, while keeping paid politics out. People deserve to have more choices than corporate media. If you have any real argument against this I'm genuinely interested to hear it. Sorry but a healthy distrust of any government is essential in my book. And what this gov is becoming everyone should feel that way. And no, it is not simple. The gov is passing laws giving themselves a 90% share in the home mortgage business by either supplying the money or guaranteeing the loans, the house just votes to completely take student loans away from the private sector, they own two car companies, they own or control banks, they own or control insurance companies, they want the health care system and now newspapers? You can trust them if you want to. Me? I will use your definition proudly then and be paranoid. Anyone else? Please explain how the government will be in control over the newspapers. Please...

  9. or the actual quote.. It's sad how paranoid the conservatives are getting. Nothing to do with paranioa. I got facts What relevant facts are these? The people benefit from it. One of the suggested acts was to bar political endorsements by newspapers claiming the nonprofit status. This would really just save smaller newspapers that are already filing for bankruptcy. People will have more news sources without paid political endorsements. Is this the only reason not to pass the bill? that the government 'dont' belong here?

  12. its because they're racist, duh... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=277gQDcBtMY
  13. Obama's win defintiely brought out a lot more racism in a lot of people in America. You can even find plenty of it on this site..
  14. Ok. Why don't you provide the explanation, and give me that reality check. Why is a term that stereotypes one ethnicity any less offensive than similar terms that stereotype others? Please educate me. I would if I actually believed that you can't grasp this. But you're just being a crybaby and trying to make this a racial issue when you know there is none.
  15. If you really need someone to explain to you that "redneck" isn't as offensive as the other words you mentioned, you need a reality check.
  16. Well then you answered your own question. Why don't you go cry to comedy central who ran Jeff Foxworthy's racially offensive show "You might be a redneck if..."?.
  17. "Oh and by the way we just need someone to pay for all of this. Thanks!"
  18. very smart people.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUPMjC9mq5Y
  19. I was terrified for my first fun jump. I was the last to exit, but i had always wanted to climb out and hang on to the otter. I climbed out, spent maybe 4 seconds in the door, and finally let go and watched the plane fly away. I just watched the ground and my alti. The whole experience was so overwhelming I just did that for a few more jumps while i tried to get used to being on my own :)
