Hey there, Which reserve do you reckon is the most worth buying? PD states that the Optimum flies more like a main canopy (is this true?) and is the low pack volume really that noticeable compared to the PDR? Also, what are your thoughts of the Smart reserve? Performance? Pack Volume? Cheers!

Just let this to rest people. It really doesn't matter what he does, if he piles himself into the ground or whatever, as long as it's not on your dropzone and not endangering you... Most people best learn from their own mistakes, it's our human nature and it ain't gonna change, ever. The important thing is people told him the right thing to do, the rest is up to him, all we can hope is, if he does pile in and survives, you can say "I told you so" and then he will most likely learn.

If landing straight is all that you can do relatively good (in all conditions) then there's crap loads more to do and improve on with your current canopy. Or if you want to switch due to bad fitting into the container, don't go anything lower than 150 and nothing higher performance than the intermediate canopies like Pilot, Sabre2, Safire2, Pulse, Spectre, Storm etc.. When you think about it, it's really surprising how much you actually don't know of what you don't know (goes all too well for me). P.S. Take my advice with a grain of salt.
