Just fitted a 2k composites kit 2,thats a nice and easy way especially if you have ratchet straps and a chincup which i assume you do. Safety is obviously your first consideration......nothing wrong with that.

Go for the FF3, you can always change the camera cover when you change camera not the helmet.

They are out in mid July, they are also bringing out a helmet especially for the contour Gopro.

Just got this from Dawn at 2k composites, its made from aluminum and will about 95 grams and cost £68.00 UK pounds. I am going to mount this flat [horizontally] on top so i can yous it for flying flat and head down.

I have spoken to Steve at 2k composites and he told me they are going to be made from ally like the cookie TG box and will ready in June. They are also working on a UV filter to replace the plastic cover that is over the lenz.

Well i have finally got my contour 1080, cant wait to try it out. also just got off the phone to Steve at 2k composites and he has talked me into buying one of his new boxes to suit the contour, going to collect it next week. will post dsome piccies soon i hope

Hi I got ripped off as well buying a camera through dropzone.com. I advertised that i was looking for a certain sony camcorder model, a guy from the United States contacted me, we did the deal and i payed for postage to the UK. Parcel arrives and the box contains some piece of crap made by jvc!! Of course the A-HOLE dont want to know me now he has my money. Lesson: Dont part with ya money without being 100% about the seller eh Jeff!!!

Im surprised at the quality of the contour hd. I saw some footage on a uk motorcycle website and it looked like vibration was a major factor in picture quality so wasn't sure this would be any good as a helmet camera but you have certainly changed my mind. Cheers

I have a fuzion and have the 2kc box no problems with it.

Lot of bad feeling going on, a comprimise is usally the only solution but as mentioned it takes two to do it. Hope you can both get it sorted asap and get back to more important stuff.

I tend too agree, but i think if i was the young guy when i saw the size difference i would have swallowed my pride and zipped it and would not have followed the old, grey haired or not he looked a bit like Hulk Hogan!! Now im showing my age

You wait till she's 15!! boyfriend in tow with just as bad attitude and theres sod all you can apart from teach the dog to growl at him when he comes in the door : ) As far as the £400 bill goes a work mate got a dear dad phone call from his daughter whose bill was over £750 for a quarter!! he bailed her out on the the understanding she did not repeat the issue.The following bill was £300 plus which the daughter thought reasonable as she had at least cut back!!! Hence the phone was duly dropped and repeatedly jumped on by said Father.,
