From what I know about my condition, I can't walk, without the the use of crutches (yet) because the cerebellum - the part of the brain responsible for controlling one's sense of balance does not function correctly. Now, despite the fact that i don't need as much alcohol as a normal person to get a good feeling going, and that the crutches come in handy when you're drunk () I could really do without them

The first time I went out to CSC was the beginning of this season - April, 2007. Although I knew no one at the time I was greeted with open arms and treated like nothing short of family. Everybody was very friendly and I fit in instantly. I have made friends for life. Since than, I have made 2 tandems, and have spent quite a few weekends at the dropzone. I feel very safe learning here and am very confident in the staff; they are very safety-conscious; the smallest detail is never over-looked. The facilities are all also top notch. I am very proud to call Chicagoland Skydiving Center my home dropzone. If you're looking for a place with a great vibe (the bonfires are always a good time) and a very professional staff that takes great care to get to know each and every student personally, than look no further than CSC.

Oh, they're NOT monitored... I'd certainly would look into that. For 1) they're are really cheap, and for 2) you save up to 20% on your homeowners insurance. Technically you're losing no money; besides if it keeps you safe it's worth every penny. Consider yourself lucky that you have good neighbors, that it sounds like you at least have some relationship with and thus you look after each other. Does anybody know if when you make a rental car reservation online, does the place charge the card right away, or do they charge it when the you pick it up? I ask because i need to rent a car for next weeks trip, and I just made a $400.00 payment to be able to do this, but it hasn't posted yet. The rental costs $126.00, and I have $136. available credit. as of right now.
