    I Have a Cat.

Nope. I slept well, It's eleven AM here and just after the coffe break. I don't get it either "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  2. Can't be bothered to read the entire thread (sorry guys) but "bald" is a choice, "balding" is not. I think I'd shave my head too if I'd be going bald in my early twenties... 3. Dream on, Pops.. dream on. "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom

  6. Worth repeating. People who butcher thier partners after the ideal perfect model, should be dumped immediately. They cannot be trusted. What f the next girl who comes along, and who can be manipulated into breast surgery as well, also has the right eye colour? Of course I don't know your friends BF, so I might be way off base here, but as soon as I read your (te OPs, that is) post, many alarm bells went off in my head. Stories like this scare me. As to breasts, big, small I really don't give a damn. I am with a girl because I like her, else I could just go on a date with her boobs. Big, small - it's all about ratio. A tiny slender girl with huge fake ones looks ridiculous, but so does a seven foot, two hundred pound chick with double A's. 7. I've already posted the short version of that story some time ago. If you're really interested or haven't got anything better to do I can PM you the long version. 8. So what was wrong with the BOC mod? Did you find out at all? Did you get your pilot halfway out, or not at all when you tried to deploy? Also I am interested to know whether or not you cut away your "closed container malfunction". Not to critisice, merely for comparison to what I did when it happened to me. 9. Congrats on your jumps! You got into a corner, but made the right desicion, which is defined as "got to the ground safely". If you're nervous about the freefall, maybe you could ask your instructor for tips about how to stabilise yourself in freefall, as well as how you can check the symmetry of your body. 10. I've heard #1 before.. but as "plugged into the know-it-all machine" "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  11. I think it's funny. *shrug* we don't need to look for the maliscious intent behind every whuffo joke... Just like not all jokes about whuffo's are malicious. 12. You know someone hasn't been getting any for months, so when you see them with a girl you ask them how their recurrency hump went. "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  13. You're welcome, but remember - you're only as old as you feel "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  14. And the magic word is... Text message! "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  15. Hi, and welcome. That sounds like a great job! Travelling and skydiving all over the globe... What is it you do for a living? "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  16. I actually was thinking why a matchmaking thread was in General clicky-thingy "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  17. [background] I know your situation - houses in Amsterdam cost way more than I can afford, even though I don't exactly live in the most popular neighbourhood. So for the past six years I have been forced to rent out two of the bedrooms of the house. over the years i have had ten to fifteen different people living in those rooms, and so far I have been lucky; no weirdos. Well, less weird than me anyway. [/background] It's not at all uncommon to have a standard contract for renting a room say that there is a trial period of, say, one month, during which both parties can terminate the agreement at any time. After that, the person who owns the house has to give three months notice, and the person who rents the room has to give one month notice before moving. That's a serious point against him, if you ask me.. "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  18. did you see the actual result of that casting? My vote is still Kari, though.. She has a nice smile "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  19. Thanks Yes you are. Ooooops! Guess he's BUSTED! That's the good thing about old jokes; they are still funny to young people "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  20. Why? were you directly below the exit point at the time? Now there's a thing. You know you can spot well if you have but a single jumprun and neither the piano player nor the piccolo player have to land out. 21. It was a fine summer day in this home for the elderly where we were having a concert. I was playing the solo with which "Bolero di Media Noche" opens, when an automatic wheelchair came driving up behind me, stopping really close. I thought WTF!? but obviously I couldn't look round to have a look-see. Two days after our chairman sent me this picture via email.. I love it! 22. Yeah. Put that damn horn down and tell us more about her! Yeah. Like, does she need an hearing aid nowadays? "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  23. I'll have the temerity to add just one little comment A very small detail my instructors didn't mention, though what would have helped me tremendously to know, is that in a kick-ass delta you can expect that your body tilts ever so slightly "head down". Only a few degrees, mind, but there I was, thinking I was going unstable and started flailing.. Not good. "That formation-stuff in freefall is just fun and games but with an open parachute it's starting to sound like, you know, an extreme sport." ~mom
  24. That is great advice. Though i'm not an instructor, I am a manifestor, and occasionally we get students on our small cessna DZ who think they can show up at twelve, do a jump and leave at four; and bitch to me about it if that illusion is put to rest
  25. Meat: If I can catch it, I'll eat it. Veggies: I prefer fresh over tinned. I hate stuff that has been cooked to shite, and I don't eat cauliflour cooked at all, only raw. No problems with broccoli though. Fruits: I hate the texture of pineapple. The juice I can stomach (in moderation) provided it's a part of a totla flavour, but even the thought of having to eat the actual pineapple itself is enough to make me shudder and gag. Dairy: I prefer skimmed milk, and hate buttered milk. I'll eat any kind of cheese at least once.
