i did 300 jumps with x-fire2 169 loaded at 1.1-1.3 Jumped thru 110 degree summer along with dust devils and was fine. at 1.1 x-fire does not dive as much. you can expect super slow openings, and more flair power at the bottom end than safire2 or sabre2. jump it first. Best read ever. But I too wanna say that Katana dives more than VX or FX or Xaos. Going from Katana 120 to Fx99 was the weirdest transtion ever. I had to move my 270 from 750-700 to 650-600ft. and that is what i meant by once you fly Katana, you'll probably stuck with flying Velo. Ka is alot easier to swoop than Xf. They are just simply different wing. I think most will like KA over Xf. Style of flight has changed over the years and people want something with huge range on rear risers, and KA has it, and Xf doesn't. also alot of people will say that whatever you get on now will determine what kind of x-braced canopy you will end up. That all depends on one's ability to pull and stay stable. J Tagle, was jumping 74 velo on wingsuit record jumps. Some of them with full rds no problem. Luigi was jumping jfx 7eventy something for the wing suit record and had no problem all week long. Then again on same day I saw one having trouble with 170 specter all week long. so go figure I've only packed JFX and never jumped one, but by packing it, I found out that rib height is way shorter than fx, or xaos, but taller than velocitys, and this jfx did not have any stablizer. Cooning and rolling stage felt alot more like velocity, much less fabric to deal with than fx or xaos 21s. Bernie Sanders for President 2016

i use ball-rubber thingy and I personally believe that rubber band won't break away when it is snagged. I strongly believe that even with full weigh underneath one ball and rubber band it will still hold on in some cases and hinder your cut away procedure. weigh out your percentage and act accordingly. i still use rubber band/ ball thing.
