my 32nd jump was a pc in tow. Its all kinda blury now. I remember throwing the pc and going to the "boxman" position. A few seconds later i thought to myself...hmm...nothings happening. I kinda froze up. I think i was thinking no f'in way!!! this is not happening. Finally around 1000 i snapped out of it and pulled my reserve. It sure hurt to have my reserve come out while still in ff. But i guess it would have hurt more to have the ground brake my fall. Anyway, the fear didn't hit me till after i had landed. I turned white. One comment that stands out really good to me was "your face is as white as your helmet" I had just boght a new white helmet. Any current Knights on these fourms? If their are and you have some time can you pm me? I really would like some info on the tryout process. Oh, I guess it dosent matter if you arnt a current knight....just anyone with info on the tryout process. I already know what the requirements are and all that. Where i realize how lucky and happy i am to be a part of this sport. I'll be it not a big part but...part. Even though my jump #'s are low i still sometimes cant believe what i have done. I remeber as a kid thinking that sky diving sounded so cool. I never imagined i would have done it. Let alone 235 times. Hopefully much more to come. oh yeah i also get this feeling a lot right after my parachute opens. A thought that comes to my head somewhat often is "wow, did i really just do that!?" Eh, it's only 3 1/2 when you've got the drill down. I do it every weekend. If you need a lift, let me know. haha! Our bus driver was great on friday. It only took him about 5 hours to get there. Okay, I really, really like Spaceland but I don't think anyone can say the foods always been great! funny story. It was cloudy all morning last friday and into the afternoon. I finally got tired of waiting around and said screw it im getting some grub. I said "just watch, as soon as i order food its going to clear up" sure enough no more than 10 seconds after my burger gets put in front of me "load 2 your on a 10 min. call" From what i tasted of the burger it was great. Even though i had to eat it in about 1 minute and left all my fries and over half my coke I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

cool. as far as im aware there are only 2 licensed skydivers here. A major and my self. It would be nice to get some more licensed skydivers here. I could be mistaken but iv asked at the 2 closest dz's and they told me it was only me and the major that have been jumping from ft polk. congratulations on started AFF first off. Now...maby you can look into different types of altimeters? Im not sure how different they are all though. I have had the same one since i was a student and havent really looked at any others since; mine works fine for me. I know there are digital. That might work better for you. Im sure you'll get the hang of it either way. by the way what branch you in? Im thinking army. I think the marines version of ssg is gunnery sgt. or something like that. I dont know for sure. im assuming on exit something like that is pretty much all momentum. don't know for sure though since i have never done that exit. Just experiment with it. Great dropzone. Awesom camera fliers and editors. I think i finally got at least one of my friends thinking about getting into the sport. Everything was great execpt for the downwind cafe not having any food (just about) and my landing on the sunset load a couple time zones away drom the dz I may not agree with what you have to say but i'll defend to the death your right to say it.

God I hope. My brigade has a "boss" trip to spaceland this friday. A great deal for the soliders. 120$ for 2 tandems...just can't beat that. I contacted spaceland and they said they would work something out to hook me up with jump tix. So that plus jumping saturday would be awesom...lots of jumps this weekend hopefully. Unfortunatly I checked the weather forcast and they are saying mostly cloudy for friday and all through the weekend so it isnt looking good. oh yeah and... I had a moment today waiting for final formation being relased for the day. I look up and see a huge brake in the clouds right near sunset. The wind was calm the sunset was nice.
