Disposable cameras work just fine under canopy. I did a jump and took pics while in freefall. A kid I know, from the High School here, just used a shotgun after his girlfriend left him. We did the photos for his Prom last spring. My friend at work is still mourning his son's death(hanging) for the same reason. Get a good jump video(Quincy WFFC 2002) with music that really gets you happy & pumped about jumping. What it over and over and sign along. When you're on the ride up, start humming that tune and do it again on jump run. 700 & 1000 When I could see the leaves on the trees at Cross keys, I realized "Ground rush" is a bad thing to to see. Jumping out of the plane when "That's the idea" and your not staring at a specific surface,spot or other point of impact makes your mind react differntly than,"hey I'm on the roof and WHOA!! my foot slipped, bango!..broken:leg,arm,face,skull, or neck=dead. I love my job climbing poles evey day but, when my safety strap slips while I'm busy with both hands in a phone cable...WHOA!!!...followed by son-of-a-bitch! When your NOT supposed to fall, I think your brain is still there to keep you primal survival & will of self presevation in tact eventhough we love to leap every weekend. I'm still that way too. be sure that the engine ( in it's present condition ) can take the compression. A K&N air filter is great and an exhaust with comprable flow (doesn't have to be louder to flow) I did it with an 1100 suzuki "MR TURBO" kit. It was a big red "F"ing thing I found a Kerker pipe that had better flow and as quiet as a "stock". My present car is FULL turbo and stock in appearance. The only "tell tale" sign is when the cloud of smoke from my wheel wells start to billow. Mostly they see my car and the guy trailing and pull him over and my black Sta/Wagon go on to the DZ....suckers! A friend of mine does that with Audi & Volvo wagons. Right now he's putting in a 355H.P. motor into a 740 wagon. By the way Sunshine, you had e-mailed me if I knew you when you joyfully stated your expulsion from the C-130 bar at Rantoul. I was the guy with the mountain bike hanging out with the owner. Nice guy but, all business man. I can respect that. Right now I set aside $120 per week for jumping. Rantoul wa$ great but, right now I'm busting ass for a new custom Cobalt and a 2nd rig for it. I plan to cover my big bills now and use my special bank acct.(like a xmas fund) for jumping shamlessly in 2003! Learning what doesn't work from this season helped me plan next season. I plan on doing lots of SNOW

Nightmares... It is good to hear when someone survives it. A good friend of mine has had two double mals, one thru trees and one into swamp(Fla). The longest he waited to jump again afer a double mal. was 45mins, at a competition after his reserve blew out. My sister-in-laws room mate in college had a no pull impact in So Cal. into some sort of hole that broke her hip,ribs and had her feet next to her head. Seems to me that there are only two ways to change the system....overthrow it by force (not very likely) or to elect people who can change it from the inside out. Well it's amazing and great to know that people DO care about this. My Dad always told me "If you are not a part of the solution then, YOU ARE a part of the PROBLEM!" and NOT voting makes you a part of the problem. If you are not happy with your candidates, why not run yourself or support someone you believe in? Thank you for sharing with all of us. We can listen to you and pray for things to come for you coping of this. If we can be there for you, listen to, in this way then thank you for trusting us enough to open up and reach out. Most of us could not cope with so much. My best friend and his wife visit the site of their child every day and are 1 year past with a second daughter due . All is well but, still... The Guggenheim Museum is awesome, I go there just for the beauty of the building. Take in a Brunch at the PLAZA right next o Central Park and an Eye shot from FAO Schwartz(I loved that store!) Do be aware that you are in NYC when night falls. My mom's house was 5 E.75th St.(It's now 4 businesses, one of them is for housing Ford & Elite Models when in town
